It is believed that God loved the world so much that he sacrificed the life of his begotten son for the sins of the entire humanity. For the sins of the people who believed in Jesus Christ, he sacrificed his life. People observe the day to celebrate Jesus’ sacrifice to save humanity from the shadows of their own sins.

Hanuman Jayanti celebrates the birth of Lord Hanuman, an incarnation of Lord Shiva and disciple of Lord Rama. On this day, devotees gather at Hanuman temples for morning prayers. Lord Hanuman symbolizes strength, knowledge, and devotion, and is worshipped as an immortal being with the power to remove negativity.
Lord Hanuman is considered the 11th Rudra Avatar of Lord Shiva.
As per legend, Lord Hanuman was born on a full moon day to Kesari, son of Lord Brihaspati (Jupiter), and Anjana, a celestial being who was cursed to live on Earth. After 12 years of worshiping Lord Shiva and giving birth to Hanuman, Anjana was redeemed from her curse. Thus Lord Hanuman is seen as a reflection or incarnation of Lord Shiva.
Another legend says that as a child, Lord Hanuman mistook the Sun for ripe fruit and tried to eat it by flying to great heights and crossing several mountains. The planet Rahu, on its way to causing an eclipse with the Sun, came in his way and halted his progress. Hanuman defeated Rahu, but Rahu sought Lord Indra's help. Indra used his thunderbolt weapon (Vajra) to knock out Hanuman. The unconscious Hanuman was discovered by his father, God Vayu, who was angry and made life tough for all living beings on Earth. Realizing their mistake, Lord Indra and the demigods revived Hanuman and granted him blessings.
His bravery and ardent devotion to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita has been well written in the super epic Ramayana.

Mahavir Jayanti is one of the most auspicious festivals for the Jain community. It marks the birth anniversary of the 24th and the last Tirthankara (enlightened teacher) of the Jain religion. Jainism places great emphasis on achieving world peace and harmony in a manner that causes little to no harm to living beings.
At the age of 30, Lord Mahavir renounced all his worldly possessions and became a wandering ascetic, searching for spiritual enlightenment. The legend goes that after spending 12 years in exile he attained ‘Kevala Jnana’ or omniscience.
Lord Mahavir dedicated his life to the teachings of non-violence, truth, non-stealing, chastity, and non-attachment. He preached that all living beings have a soul and should therefore be treated with love, compassion and respect. He also stressed the importance of living a simple, peaceful and virtuous life.
Wishing you a very happy Mahavir Jayanti! Hope this occasion brings you spirituality and peace of mind!

Ugadi or Yugadi (Sanskrit for beginning of a new age) is New Year's Day celebrated in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Goa.
The day is observed by drawing colorful patterns on the floor called 'Muggulu', mango leaf decorations on doors called 'Toran', buying and giving gifts such as new clothes, giving charity to the poor, oil massages followed by special baths and preparing and sharing a special food called 'Pachadi'. The Pachadi festive dish symbolically reminds the people that the following year – as all of life – will consist of not just sweet experiences, but a combination of sweet, sour, salty, and bitter episodes. Just as the different substances are bound together, one is reminded that no event or episode is wholly good or bad. Even in the midst of bitter experiences, there are sweet moments.
So, here's wishing all of you a very happy Ugadi!

Gudi Padwa means the first day of new year in Maharashtra. In simple words, the Marathi New Year has got its name from two words - ‘gudi’, which means a flag or emblem of Hindu Lord Brahma and ‘padwa’ means the first day of the phase of the moon.
It is believed that Lord Brahma created the universe on the day of Gudi Padwa and introduced days, weeks, months and years. Some believe, it commemorates the coronation of Rama in Ayodhya after his victory over evil Ravana.
Basically this festival signifies new beginnings and victory of good over evil!
