Today was a delightfully busy and sweet day at summer camp! Our little campers rolled up their sleeves to make their very own delicious chocolates and Yummy Jam made out of vegetables, a hands-on activity that was just as fun to create as it will be to eat. The excitement continued with a series of hilarious blowing games that had everyone giggling while secretly practicing their breath control and focus. Amidst all the fun, they also took some quiet time to pour their hearts into crafting beautiful, personalized Mother's Day cards, adding their own special creative touches to surprise you this weekend.

To balance out our creative morning, we made sure to get plenty of active play in with energetic physical games! We set up a variety of action-packed challenges specifically designed to help the children develop their gross motor skills. From running and jumping to balancing and navigating fun obstacles, the kids had an absolute blast moving their bodies, building their physical coordination, and burning off that extra summer energy together.

Another amazing day of multisensory learning and fun at our summer camp! Our little campers got incredibly creative today, designing beautiful models using cardboard and fresh leaves gathered right from our garden. We also engaged their fine motor skills through exciting hands-on activities, including custom soap making and crafting fun cars using special moulds. To top off the physical play, we practiced our focus, posture, and gross motor coordination by carefully balancing objects on our heads while walking the line!

We also made sure to give our minds a fantastic workout today! The children practiced specialized yoga poses paired with hand exercises specifically designed to activate and synchronize the left and right hemispheres of the brain. Afterward, we connected with traditional Indian culture by creating stunning Warli Art using block printing techniques. It was a perfect blend of physical movement, cognitive development, and creative expression, and we are so incredibly proud of our busy little learners! 🌿🧘‍♀️🎨

🌟 A Beautiful, Nature-Filled Tuesday at Scottish Corner Kinder World! 🌟

Dear Parents,

We had an incredibly engaging and *multisensory day* at camp today! The children were fully immersed in hands-on learning, creative expression, and connecting with the environment. Here is a glimpse into what our little learners were up to:

🌿 Garden-to-Hand Soap Making: We took a wonderful nature walk to our school garden, where the children handpicked fresh, fragrant herbs. Using special molds, they incorporated these herbs to craft their very own custom soaps! It was a fantastic sensory activity that connected them directly to nature.

🌸 Botanical Art & Craft: Continuing our nature theme, the campers used beautiful, gathered leaves and flowers to create unique, textured artwork. This hands-on craft was perfect for sparking their creativity and letting them explore different natural shapes.

🎶Grooving with Sabby Sir: The energy was high during our Songs and Dance workshop! Sabby Sir led a fantastic session filled with rhythm, music, and lots of smiles as the kids learned new routines.

🧘 Fun Dance & Yoga Moves: We kept the physical momentum going by blending upbeat, fun dance steps with mindful yoga poses. This combination is excellent for developing their body coordination, balance, and spatial awareness.

🌱 Little Gardeners Seed Sowing: The children got their hands in the soil today as they carefully sowed their own tiny seeds. They gave them their very first watering and learned all about what a seed needs to thrive. They are so excited to take on the responsibility of nurturing their seeds and watching them grow into beautiful plants over the coming weeks!

It was a joy watching them learn through experience today. We can't wait for more adventures tomorrow!
