Shalakon 22..... successfully organised by TAS Rajsthan State Branch and National Institute of Ayurved NIA, Jaipur on 18th and 19th June 22. Hearty congratulations to Team Shalakya NIA. 💐

Hearty congratulations to the newly elected central council members and especially to Dr Suvarna Golecha for being elected as President of TAS India for next two years 2022-24.

National Conference on Shalakya Ta**ra,Shalakon 22 at NIA Jaipur.
First day of the conference was very fruitful. All the delegates enjoyed the feast of knowledge and food at the grand venue NIA Jaipur Rajasthan.
I am sharing glimpses of inaugural program and also the scientific sessions.
Vice chancellor of NIA Jaipur Dr Sanjeev Sharma,Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Meeta Kotecha, TAS India President Dr Haridra Dave, TAS India General Secretary Dr Manjiri Keskar , Immediate Past President TAS India Dr Sangeeta Salvi,Treasurer Dr Ganga Hadimani,Registrar NIA Jaipur Dr Murti were present for the inaugural program. A book release was also done during inaugural program authored by Dr Shamsa Fiaz. Souvenir was also released.
The resource persons for scientific sessions were Dr Sharma,Vitreoretinal Surgeon from Jaipur spoke on Retinopathy of prematurity,,Dr Haridra Dave spoke on Jalandhar Bandha,Dr Sangeeta Salvis topic was otosclerosis and it's surgical management Dr Manjiri Keskar spoke on Nystagmus and it's diagnostic criteria,Dr Shamsa Fiaz talked about her success stories and lastly Dr Pranav Bhagwat spoke on vascular retinal diseases and it's understanding through Ayurved.
The day was full of enthusiasm and in the evening cultural program was arranged by the organizers.
Food was very tasty and delicious.
Looking forward for second day of conference.

Dr Haridra Dave,The most energetic and enthusiastic President of TAS India ....
At the age of 65 and even after superannuation,he is busy for almost 18 hours per day.
The best thing about him is that even if he is tired,he is again ready to work. There are so many things to learn from him.
We,Shalakies are fortunate to have him as our President.
Today he delivered a lecture as a guest speaker on the occasion of Yog Saptah organized by Dr Babasaheb Open University, Ahmedabad and felicited for the same.

June 10th is World Eye Donation Day to encourage people to donate their eyes after death while raising awareness about blindness and visual impairment. Eye donation involves donating your corneas, and almost everyone can do so, saving the sight of patients for many years. Even if you have vision problems, eyes can be used for medical research and education, not only transplants. If you consider becoming an eye donor, talk to your family about it because their support is needed for the donation to go ahead.

We congratulate TAS Gujarat branch for timely election and wish all the best for newly elected executive committee.

5th June 22
A day filled with energy and enthusiasm.
TAS Gujarat State Branch today organised a one day state level conference on Shalakya Ta**ra Update Shalakya Ta**ra 22 in association with Vaidya Maniratnam Ayurved Pharmacy and Akhandanand Ayurved College, Ahmedabad at Ahmedabad Management Association Ambawadi.
The participation from all over Gujarat was noted.
In the morning the general body election of gujrat branch was organised and elections were held. The newly elected members took over the charge.
We congratulate Dr Hemangi Shukla Professor and HOD Department of Shalakya Ta**ra Akhandanand Ayurved College Ahmedabad for being elected as President TAS Gujarat State Branch.
There were total six scientific sessions in the conference. First four were of guest lectures and last two were paper presentation by Students and then faculty members.
It was indeed a very nicely managed conference.

The social touch and service to poor is speciality of many shalakies.
Dr Santosh Munde is also one such Shalaki who takes care of poor and needy patients.

सहकारी डॉक्टरांमधला रुग्णसेवेचा आनंददायी झरा...

गेल्या आठवड्यात माझ्या हॉस्पिटलमध्ये एक गरजू आजी आणि नात माझ्याकडे आले. लहानश्या रितिका खंदारेच्या डाव्या हाताचे मधले बोट तुटलेले होते. माझा तर विभाग ENT पण नडलेलेल्या आजी आणि नात माझ्याकडे विश्वासाने आलेल्या होत्या. प्रथमदर्शनी वेदनेत असलेल्या रितिकाला बघून त्वरित अस्थिरोगतज्ज्ञ डॉ. पांडुरंग फड यांना संपर्क साधून रुग्णाची माहिती देऊन आर्थिक परिस्थितीबाबत कल्पना दिली.

त्यानंतर सर्व प्रकारची प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करून रितिका संजीव खंदारेवर यशस्वी शस्त्रक्रिया पार पाडली. विशेष म्हणजे माणूसकीचे दर्शन घडवत डॉ. फड यांनी मोफत उपचार केले. आज असे सहकारी डॉक्टर्स बघितले की काम करण्याचा उत्साह द्विगुणीत होतो.
