The Horseman Way experience :
About a month ago, I had a chance to spend a day with horses. To be with them. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life.
Through spending time with them, I deepened into the field of non-verbal language, into the language of attunement.
When you are with them, attunement is the only language you can speak.
If you do not listen, you don’t understand.
If you want their attention, you wait.
If you want to initiate contact,
You step gently.
If you want to speak to them,
You interact softly.
If you want to hear what they have to say,
You listen deeply.
Something beautiful happens.
You become aware of an invisible field, that fuses with their field
And the more present you are, the more alive the field is.
In each moment of connection, they are with you.
When I was immersed in thought, there was no felt sense of a field.
When I came into presence, the field came alive.
Attunement is the language that we were never taught or had to study.
It is the language that we arrived into this world with.
Along the way, words became more important because they gave shape to ideas.
Unfortunately, human beings are obsessed with ideas.
We do not care so much about the language of resonance and attunement.
Because it doesn’t give us something tangible.
It doesn’t make us feel important or big.
It reduces us in size. It breaks our sense of self importance and forces us to surrender. Attunement is the language of the universe, spoken by every being in this universe. Because it is the language of the universe itself.
It is the language the heart understands.
Thought wants to understand. Attunement wants to be.
Attunement is how the universe recognises itself through us.
The beauty is- we don’t have to learn it.
When we step into presence, we remember this language.
