Love is a pretty confusing feeling, right? Love is friendship? Love is commitment? Love is being comfortable being you around the person you're with? What exactly is love? It's all this and a lot more! According to me, love's foundation is unconditional acceptance of who you are, and the other person is! What love is not? Trying to control other person's every move, not respecting your own as well as other's priorities, past experiences, thinking that you own the other person and most importantly, not respecting their boundaries!
Possessiveness comes from the thought that we own that person, or he/she is our property! It definitely is not love, but usually stems from being dependent on the other person for your own happiness, satisfaction and the insecurity that of that person is not doing anything according to your will, you will lose out on everything you have!
