Successful Completion of 3-Day Faculty Development Program on
Universal Human Values (UHV)
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune, successfully organized a 3-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values (Introductory) from 1st June to 3rd June 2026 under the aegis of NCCIP-AICTE.
The FDP was conducted with the objective of promoting value-based education and holistic human development in alignment with the vision of NEP 2020 and AICTE initiatives.
Participants engaged in insightful and interactive sessions on:
● Self-Exploration and Holistic Development
● Happiness and Prosperity
● Harmony in the Human Being
● Harmony in Family through Trust and Respect
● Harmony in Society, Nature, and Existence
● Value-Based Education and Responsible Living
The inaugural function was graced by Shri Ravindraji Deo, Chairman, MKSSS, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Madhuri Khambete, Principal, MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Pune.
The sessions were conducted by Shri Umesh Jadhav, National Resource Person for Universal Human Values, with valuable support from Dr. Prashant B. Daigavane (Observer) and Mrs. Revati Rajiv Deshpande (Co-Facilitator).
A total of 89 faculty members registered, representing both the host institution and other educational institutions.
The FDP provided a meaningful platform for self-reflection, dialogue, and understanding of human values, reinforcing the role of educators in nurturing ethical, responsible, and socially conscious citizens.

The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering at MKSSS’s Cummins College of Engineering for Women is organizing a Three-Day AICTE–NCCIP Introductory Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV) from 1st June 2026 to 3rd June 2026 in offline mode at the college campus.
The FDP is being conducted with the objective of promoting value-based education and integrating Universal Human Values into technical education and professional practice. The program aims to help faculty members develop a holistic understanding of harmony in self, family, society, nature, and existence.
The FDP will be guided by Shri. Umesh Jadhav, National Resource Person and Mentor, Western Region UHV Team.

The Award:
The team was awarded a cash prize of ₹1.50 Lakh and an on-the-spot open offer to join Deloitte following their internships.
The Journey:
Competing against 21,000+ registrations from across India, the team cleared five rigorous rounds to emerge among the Top 10 teams in the country. The Grand Finale was held at the Deloitte office in Bangalore.
The Winning Project:
Their project, "Audit Analysis from Source Data," focused on AI-powered financial auditing. The judges were highly impressed by the innovation and ex*****on of the solution, specifically praising its practical impact and scalability. Furthermore, the team has been invited for discussions to potentially develop their solution into a commercial product.

Last weekend marked a historic first: the inaugural Cummins College Alumni Meet in Hyderabad — and what an afternoon it was.
40 registrations. 25 women in one room. Decades of experience and fresh ambition colliding in the best way possible.
What made this truly special wasn't the numbers — it was the quality of what happened in that room. Pioneer batches of '96 ( Ojas Kale) and '97( Joshi) sitting alongside our most recent graduates. Senior leaders sharing hard-won wisdom. Early-career professionals bringing energy and curiosity. And real, honest conversations that went far beyond the usual pleasantries.
We welcomed 6 new registered members to our alumni community and laid the foundation for something enduring in this city.

Cummins College of Engineering for Women proudly hosted the Annual Awards Ceremony & B.Tech Felicitation on 16th April 2026, celebrating excellence, dedication, and the inspiring journeys of our students.
The event commenced with the felicitation of the passing-out batch of 2025–26, marking a significant milestone as our graduates step forward into new beginnings with confidence and purpose.
This was followed by the prestigious Annual Awards Ceremony, where the Cummins Excellence Awards recognized outstanding achievements across multiple domains:

We are pleased to announce college team – Team Bharadwaj Aero participated in the SAE Drone Development Challenge 2026, securing notable ranks among teams from across India:
AIR 1 -in Technical Design Report
AIR 10 - Overall in the Micro Class Category
The challenge required to design a radio-controlled aircraft capable of carrying the maximum payload. Team’s aircraft was designed, analyzed, and manufactured entirely in-house. Team also successfully completed the flight round, validating design under real-time conditions. In addition, team achieved a record assembly time of just 58 seconds, demonstrating not only engineering precision but also operational efficiency under competitive conditions.
