Dnyanganga English Medium School and Junior College celebrated Maharashtra Day with great enthusiasm and pride, honoring the glorious formation, culture, and rich heritage of Maharashtra. 🌸
The celebration began with a melodious group song performed by the school teachers beautifully showcased the rich history, culture, and traditions of Maharashtra, filling everyone with pride and patriotism followed by inspiring speeches by teachers and staff members highlighting the importance of Maharashtra Day and the remarkable progress of our state. 🎶💛
The program concluded with motivating words by founder and president of Zeal Education society Mr.S.M.Katkar sir , emphasizing the importance of preserving our heritage while working towards a brighter future for the state.

Lecture on Challenges faced by students at *Adolescence Stage* & *Reproductive Systems*

Dr Rupa Agrawal ( Founder of Muktaa Charitable Foundation) and her associates accentuated on the importance of reproductive system and healthcare. Also covered all the points related to role of harmones in our body in an efficient way. It was an interactive, audio - visual session whereby students were encouraged to clear all their doubts related to the topic.

🌿✨ Proud Moment for Dnyanganga English Medium School! ✨🌿

🌱Vanarai Ecoclub organised various competitions to create awareness about ecosystems, and our talented students made us proud with their outstanding achievements! 🎉👏

🎶 Our school (Morning Section) proudly bagged 2nd Prize in the "Lokgeet" Competition, winning a cash prize of Rs. 5000!
Which was written by our drawing teacher Mr. Rohit Khirade and Music composed by
Mr. Prashant Naikwadi and Mr. Mahesh Deshmukh

🏆 Shreyas Joshi won the Individual Sarvotkrushta Project Prize and received a cash prize of Rs. 1100 along with a medal and certificate.

🏆 Siddhi Bhore received the Utkrushta Chitra Puraskar and bagged a cash prize of Rs. 800 along with a medal and certificate.

🏆 Rudra Karanjavne & Kartik Choudhary secured the Utkrushta Group Project Prize and received a cash prize of Rs. 500 along with medals and certificates.

The prizes were distributed by Marathi film child artist Srinivas Pokale, known for his wonderful performance in the movie Nal.

🏆 We are also delighted to share that our teacher, Mrs. Manasi Chandrahas Sonpetkar, secured Second Rank in the Outstanding Environmental Essay Competition.
📚 The topic of her essay was “Biodiversity Around My Home.” 🌱🌼

🍁Great Participation:
Morning shift students spread the awareness about conservation of environment through effective "Pathnatya" directed by our Dance teacher Dr. Sunita Jamdade.
🍁Afternoon Shift students presented Bharud to convey the importance of nature composed by Mr. Rakesh Matte and Mr. Samadhan Mapari
🍁 Many students enthusiastically participated in various competitions, activities and projects.

🌱Vanarai Eco Club appreciated sincere efforts of Vanarai Co-ordinators
Mrs. Arti Yadav and Mrs. Swapna Manekar to bring these laurels to the school.

Dnyanganga English Medium School proudly participated in the Heritage Yatra at Kalagram on 6th February 2026. The event, organized by MIT, aimed to blend social awareness with traditional and contemporary arts.
The program commenced with a social awareness session featuring a short film depicting the lives of balloon sellers. Following the screening, students created architectural sketches of a park thoughtfully designed to meet the needs and recreational interests of these children.
The Performing Arts session included a drama workshop where students presented monologues Two students,
*Pranit Bormane and Abeer Deshmukh* were felicitated with gifts for their outstanding performances.
Students participated in Diya painting and an introductory embroidery workshop. A pottery session was also conducted, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all participants.
Overall the Heritage Yatra was meaningful and enriching experience to all.
We are really thankful to the Founder Director of Zeal Education Society, Mr. S. M. Katkar sir, Director Uddhav Shid sir, Secretary Dr. Jayesh Katkar Sir and the Principal of Dnyanganga English Medium School and Junior College, Mrs. Anuradha Nikam madam for rendering guidance and support for creating these unforgettable memories!
