Green Valley College of Education Research and Trainings, Lethpora Pampore has been established in the year 2003.The college is recognized by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and affiliated to the University of Kashmir (NAAC Accredited Grade “A” University).the college is also recognized by U.G.C. The College campus is located at a renowned town of Kashmir valley-Lethpora (Pampore) very close to Srinagar - Jammu National Highway, with beautiful location, bewitching architecture and a scenic charm. It is sprawled on a vast piece of land (about 20 kanals) wherefrom one can view the rich and fertile paddy fields stretching along the National Highway. LOCATION

Lethpora, famous for Saffron (Kesar) Cultivation is situated at the foot of (Sonakrund) Karewa, on the right bank of river Jehlum. The town is representative of the ancient ‘Laltpura’ founded by king Lalitaditya (A.D 693-729). It is about 15 kms. ahead from capital city of Srinagar, famous as “the Venice of the East”
