Anti-Ragging Week 2026 | Building a Campus of Care, Respect & Belonging

Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL), observed Anti-Ragging Week from 12–18 August 2026, reaffirming its commitment to a safe, respectful and supportive campus environment.

The week brought together students and faculty through a series of engaging activities, including panel discussions, an interactive awareness session, a “Ragging-Free Campus” human chain, and a digital campaign pitch competition.

Through discussion, reflection and creative expression, students explored the importance of empathy, responsible behaviour, peer support, bystander intervention and a culture of care in preventing ragging.

The week concluded with a Valedictory Programme and Certificate Distribution, celebrating the enthusiastic participation and creativity of the student community.

At SSSIHL, ragging is alien to our ethos and culture. Together, we reaffirm our commitment to a campus founded on respect, care, responsibility and mutual support.

MBA Foundation Day 2026 | Shaping Leaders for a Values-based Viksit Bharat

The Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (SSSIHL) will host MBA Foundation Day 2026 from 21–23 August 2026 at the Sai Hira Global Convention Centre, Prasanthi Nilayam, on the theme “Values-based Viksit Bharat.”

The three-day programme brings together eminent leaders from business, industry, public policy and academia, along with SSSIHL alumni and industry practitioners, offering MBA students a rich platform for reflection, dialogue, immersion and experiential learning.

Day 1 | August 21
The inaugural day features addresses by Sri R J Rathnakar, Managing Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust; Sri Ajay Seth, Chairman, IRDAI; and Sri Rajneet Kohli, Executive Director, Foods, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.

A fireside chat with Sri Bhaskar Bhat, Trustee, Sir Dorabji Tata Trust; Sri Rajneet Kohli, Executive Director, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.; and Sri Sundar Ram, Lead Partner, CEDA, PwC, moderated by Prof. Madhu Veeraraghavan, Pro Vice Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, will explore leadership and professional excellence.

Day 2 | August 22
Students engage in Immersion Circle sessions across Finance; Digital Transformation, AI & Analytics; Governance, Public Policy & Strategic Leadership; and Sales & Marketing, led by distinguished alumni and industry experts. The day concludes with a musical performance by SSSIHL alumnus Sri Muthukumar and his band.

Day 3 | August 23
The programme concludes with addresses by Sri Sanjay Jayavarthanavelu, Chairman - CII Manufacturing Council, and Chairman & Managing Director, Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd., and Ms Suchitra Ella, President - Designate CII, and Managing Director, Bharat Biotech.

At its heart, MBA Foundation Day 2026 seeks to inspire future leaders to connect values with leadership, professional excellence and nation-building, contributing to the vision of a Values-based Viksit Bharat.

Celebrating India’s 80th Independence Day

The spirit of patriotism filled all four campuses of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning as we came together to celebrate India’s 80th Independence Day.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National Flag and the ceremonial salute, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. We remembered with gratitude the countless heroes whose courage, sacrifice and devotion secured the freedom we cherish today.

Students added to the spirit of the occasion through stirring patriotic songs, celebrating the strength, diversity and spirit of our nation.

As we honour the past, may we also renew our commitment to building a stronger, more harmonious and values-based India.

Sri Sathya Sai Biobank & Research Hub: Driving Precision Medicine | TechBBQ 2026

The Sri Sathya Sai & Research Hub is an integrated precision medicine ecosystem, jointly established by the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning and the Sri Sathya Sai Medical Institutions.

With more than 25,000 biospecimens spanning multiple disease types, the biobank draws from a network of hospitals run by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust that have delivered free, world-class healthcare for over three decades.

The platform is already enabling impactful innovations, including:

• AMRx® – commercialised AI/ML AMR platform
• PathCrisp – a CRISPR-BITS diagnostic platform validated on biobank isolates
• ZeBox – Biomoneta air decontamination technology validated against MDR pathogens
