FirstCry Intellitots: The foundation that transcends dreams into reality…

“Education is a gift for life”. We believe in creating the Global Leaders of tomorrow through our curriculum which looks at preparing the child for a life beyond School rather than examining how well the students have learnt the curriculum. It is a world that encourages your child to explore, be inquisitive, question every

thing and find answers through a process of discovery. We make the child learn through a strong partnership with the Parents where he himself cherishes the child growing each day. What makes us stand apart? Children learn in a holistic manner. We believe in designing programs which are child-centric and foster the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and creative growth leading to the complete child development. Utilizing an integrated curriculum, learning centers, and a low teacher ratio, we provide rich learning experiences that enhance all the developmental domains. We believe learning is best done through a discovery process that encourages experiential, “hands-on” learning. We provide an environment where the child can reach as far as his /her development allows. Our program is grounded on the developmental philosophies of Piaget, Erikson, and Vygotsky, and their principles about the growth and development of children.

The human body is full of tiny miracles that we hardly ever notice.

The funny thing is that children are naturally curious about these things. They want to know why we dream, why we yawn, why our hearts beat and why we need sleep.

And honestly, adults are usually just as curious. 😄

So, here are a few fascinating facts to explore together.

Which fact surprised you the most?

Save this post for your little scientist. ❤️

Most children can recognise the colour red, green or yellow long before they learn the names of all the vegetables around them. 🌈

That's why I love activities like this. They don't feel like lessons at all. They feel like games.

The next time you're at the grocery store, try asking questions such as:

"Can you find a green vegetable?"
"Can you spot something orange?"
"Can you find a vegetable that grows underground?"

You'll be surprised by how quickly little minds start making connections. 🥕🥦

And who knows? Your little one might even become brave enough to try a new vegetable or two. 😄

It's not easy being a toddler's mum or dad. ❤️
Some days, you're packing lunch boxes, searching for missing socks, wiping sticky hands and trying to remember where the water bottle disappeared.

On other days, you're reading bedtime stories, carrying spare clothes, finding crayons under the sofa and wondering how someone so tiny can need so many things. 😄

The truth is that raising little children doesn't come with an instruction manual.
Most of us are learning as we go.

That's exactly why we have put together this guide. Think of it as one place to find all those little things that make everyday life a little easier.

And if you're reading this while holding a half-eaten biscuit, looking for a missing shoe or hearing someone shout, "Mum!" or "Dad!" from the other room, you're doing just fine. ❤️

Save this post because there's a good chance you'll need it later.

Children have a funny way of turning the simplest things into a game.

A pillow becomes a mountain, a spoon becomes an aeroplane and somehow finding one missing letter becomes the most important mission of the day. 😂

That is exactly why we love activities like these.

Make a little snack, sit together, and turn this into a five-minute game.

Save this post for later and share it with another parent who loves making learning feel like play.

Some children ask for one story before bedtime.
Some ask for three. 😂

But here's the funny thing. Children are rarely asking for the story itself. They're asking for the feeling that comes with it.

A warm blanket.
A familiar voice.
A little extra time together.

And somewhere between talking rabbits, worried little girls and brave eggs learning to try again, children quietly learn some of life's biggest lessons.

How to be kind.
How to be brave.
How to handle disappointment.
How to talk about their feelings.

How to keep going when things don't go their way.

So tonight, pull up the blanket, make silly voices, answer the twenty-seven questions that somehow appear in the middle of the story and enjoy the moment.

These little rituals have a funny way of becoming the memories children carry forever. 🌙

Children can remember the names of twenty dinosaurs, the colour of a toy they saw three
months ago and the exact place where they hid their favourite chocolate.

So why not turn that amazing little brain into a fun game?

The rules are simple. Pick a category and ask your little one to name five things as quickly
as possible.

"Why doesn't the Sun go to school?"
"Because it's already bright enough."

And just like that, you've earned yourself five minutes of giggles, ten more questions and at least one very serious follow-up discussion.

So, ask the silly questions.
Laugh at the silly answers.
Be a little silly yourself.

Those are the moments children hold on to for years. ❤️

Some words can be a little confusing for children because the letters they see, the sounds they hear, and the way they spell the word do not always match. 🤔

You can make this easier by choosing just a few words at a time. Read the word aloud, ask your child to repeat it and then help them spot the letter that is written but not heard. This little activity can support their phonics, pronunciation, reading, and spelling skills without making learning feel like a lesson. 📚

One of the biggest worries parents have before a school interview is, "What if my child doesn't answer the questions?"

Teachers understand that children can be shy. Sometimes, a child who talks endlessly at home suddenly becomes very quiet in front of new people. That's completely normal. ❤️

In any school interview, teachers usually try to understand how a child communicates, follows instructions, expresses feelings, solves simple problems, and interacts with others.

So, don't worry about the perfect answers. Focus on helping your little one feel confident enough to speak in their own way. That's what people remember.

Save this post for later and share it with another parent who's getting ready for the big day. ❤️

One day they'll stop telling you every little thing.
The funny story from the playground.
The random question they thought of in the car.
The reason they suddenly looked quiet at dinner.

Not because they don't want to talk, but because somewhere along the way, we stopped asking the questions that invited real conversations.

Children open up when they feel heard, not hurried.

Try asking just one of these questions today. You might be surprised by what you learn about the little person who's growing up right in front of you. ❤️
