Central Inter-Disciplinary Research Facility (CIDRF) is a unit of Sri Balaji Educational and Charitable Public Trust. PRIDE is the acronym of thrust areas of research in CIDRF that stands for Pharmacogenomics, Regenerative Medicine, In silico therapeutics, Developmental therapeutics and Evidence based traditional medicine.

“CIDRF-Dr.Vany Adithan Ph.D Fellowship”

CIDRF invites applications from young, motivated individuals with strong research aptitude for multiple PhD positions (3-4) in the following areas
• Cancer
• Pharmacogenomics
• Dengue and other viral disease,

Essential Educational Qualification:

Postgraduate degree in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Genetics/ Life sciences / Biochemistry/ Pharmacology/Microbiology/MLT or other relevant subjects with at least 60% marks.

Stipend: Consolidated salary of Rs. 15,000/- pm. A contingency of Rs.1,00,000/- will be given annually towards research consumables.

Candidates will be selected based on screening test and personal interview. The position is held on a full time basis for three years, therefore simultaneous employment elsewhere is not permitted. Interested candidates should submit the following documents to Director, CIDRF, MGMCRI Campus, Pillayarkuppam, Pondy-Cuddalore road, Puducherry-607402 so as to reach us by 4th October 2017. Written test and Interview will be conducted on 5th October 2017.

1. Personal CV along with complete postal address, contact details and recent passport size photo
2. Copies of school leaving certificate, degrees, mark sheets, Aadhar card, Testimonial from HOD department/Insttiute.
3. Copies of documents in support of research experience, workshops attended, NET, GATE qualifications if any.
No TA / DA will be provided for attending the written test and the interview. Candidates should report at CIDRF office at 09:00 am on 5th October 2017 with all certificates in original.
