The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in association with ELECTRA organized a online webinar on " Career opportunity in space and Allied industries " on 23rd January 2026. The event was initiated by Dr.A.Ravichandran, Director of RAAK College of engineering and technology and featured by Mr.S.Senthil Kumaran and Mr.Venkatesh, Explore the space, Chennai served as the resource person and delivered an insightful and impactful lecture about space exploration and career opportunity in Allied industries.
More than 100 students participated and benefited from the webinar ..

RAAK College of Engineering and Technology joyfully celebrated Samathuva Pongal on 13th January 2026 🎉
The celebration brought together students, faculty, and staff to honor the spirit of unity, equality, and gratitude. The campus was filled with traditional joy through vibrant cultural programs, games, music, and festive activities. Everyone actively participated and made the celebration colorful and memorable.
👕 Traditional attire added charm and cultural pride to the occasion.
🌾 The Samathuva Pongal celebration was a grand success, spreading happiness, harmony, and togetherness across the campus.

The Director, Prof. A. Ravichandran, graciously presided over the celebration and announced the winners of the various events. The programme was successfully coordinated by Mr. B. Murugan, Head of the Department (EEE).

🌟 National Youth Day 2026 Celebrations at RAAKCET 🌟

RAAKCET – Red Ribbon Club, in collaboration with the Pondicherry AIDS Control Society, proudly organised a series of meaningful events on 12th January 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, one of India’s greatest spiritual leaders and youth icons.

Students actively participated in various activities designed to inspire awareness, leadership, and social responsibility:

🌼 Honouring a Visionary Leader 🌼

RAAK College of Engineering and Technology paid a heartfelt tribute to Swami Vivekananda on the occasion of National Youth Day 2026.
Dr. A. Ravichandran, Director of RCET, along with faculty members and students, offered floral respects and observed a silent tribute, reflecting on the timeless ideals of strength, service, and youth empowerment that Swami Vivekananda championed.

His teachings continue to inspire our students to dream boldly, act with purpose, and lead with character.

As part Pongal of the celebrations, Raak college of Engineering and Technology the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) conducted a Rangoli Competition on 12.01.2026. Faculty members and students from various departments participated enthusiastically, showcasing their creativity and cultural spirit. Based on their performance, first, second, and third prizes were awarded to the winners.

The Director, Prof. A. Ravichandran, graced the occasion and announced the winners. The event was successfully coordinated by Mr. B. Murugan, Head of the Department (EEE). The EEE Department extends its sincere thanks to all department heads, faculty members, staff, and students for their wholehearted cooperation and participation, which contributed to the grand success of the event.
