WORLD TOURISM DAY - 27th Sept 2025

As part of World Tourism Day Celebrations, Pondicherry Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) had organized a familiarization tour to Neyveli mines in accordance to the theme of the year - "Tourism and Sustainable Transformation".

The tour was flagged off by Hon'ble Minister for Tourism Shri K. Lakshminarayanan. Our students participated with great enthusiasm. We thank the team led by Madam Asha Guptha for guiding the students throughout the trip and for making it a memorable one indeed. Gratitude 🌿

A one- day intensive workshop on Learn Interview Success Techniques (LIST ) was conducted by Corporate Trainer Mr. R. Kapilan for the final year students. The workshop provided the students with the essential skills and confidence needed to excel in the upcoming job interviews.

That was a beautiful wrap- up of an enriching hotel visit to WELCOMHOTEL by ITC KENCES PALM BEACH Mahabalipuram. The entire visit was perfectly co - ordinated by Gopi Nath , our old student who is now the Assistant Executive Housekeeper of the hotel. From power-point presentations....to explaining about the various departments with patience... to organizing a sumptuous hi - tea, Gopinath left no stone unturned. Our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Manimegalai, HR Manager, for the overall coordination.

The visit provided a new perspective on hotel operations. The students gained valuable knowledge about the hospitality industry in general. The interactive sessions and Q&A made the visit all the more enjoyable. It was indeed a refreshing change from the mundane classroom sessions.

The visit ended with a wonderful lunch at TTDC Mahabalipuram. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Isaac for organizing the same.
