Children’s Day was celebrated on 14 th November 2025. At Vijay Arts And Science College Thirukanur. Various programs were conducted during the celebration. It started with tamil elocution followed by English elocution. Later in the morning tamil poetry competition was held at the college campus. Other extracurricular activities such as drawing, photography, lemon and spoon, was also conducted. The prize distribution ceremony was held between 1.30 to 3.30 pm. The Ceremony was headed by honorable Chairman Mr.V.Balachandiran, Vice Chairman Mrs.B.Janakidevi and honorable Chief guest Dr.L.Ravishankar (Retied HOD, Arignar Anna Govt. Arts And Science College Villupuram). The welcome note was given by V.Saruhasan, Asst.Prof. of Commerce. The Chief Guest was honored with memento and shawl by Mr.N.Sivakumar HOD Dept. of Chemistry. Followed a motivational speech by honorable chief guest on developing children’s knowledge with practical education. The prizes were distributed the students who won the competitions conducted earlier on the day. Honorable Vice Chairman motivated the students by giving a speech on how to focus on the future .The children’s day celebration was concluded by Mr.N.Francis Christopher Asst.Prof.English. By giving a vote of thanks.☘
