August 27–30, 2026
This summer, we return to Hamburg for a four-day immersion into the ancient wisdom and living energy of the Tao.
SuryaSoul® Dance Of Tao brings together Chi Kung, Tai Chi Chuan, Kung Fu, movement, dance and Chi meditation—transforming traditional Taoist practices into a fluid, deeply embodied journey.
The Tao means “The Way”: the natural flow of life, created through the dynamic balance of opposites—stillness and movement, softness and strength, Yin and Yang, receiving and expressing.
During these four days, we will explore how to cultivate and circulate Chi, our vital life-force energy. Through grounded movement, breath, rhythm and meditation, we learn to become more present, centered and connected—to ourselves, to one another and to the greater movements of nature.
We will practise both indoors in the intimate atmosphere of the LOVE.loft Hamburg and outdoors in nature, allowing the elements, the changing light and the living landscape to become part of our practice.
Guided by SuryaSoul® creators Philippe Beaufour and Sabine Zweig, this immersion offers both philosophy and practice, supported by a Learnbook and learning videos.
No previous experience is needed. The training is open to everyone who wishes to explore Taoist movement, conscious dance and a more harmonious way of being.

At the heart of our retreat is the beautiful Son Sion Retreat Centre, a peaceful rural finca surrounded by the nature of Mallorca. Set among olive and almond trees and paradise gardens, Son Sion offers a nurturing sanctuary away from the noise and demands of everyday life.

Its spacious and light-filled dance and yoga room provides a wonderful setting for our daily SuryaSoul journeys. Golden sunlight enters through the large windows, creating a warm and inspiring space in which we can dance, move, meditate, breathe, and connect.

Outside, the scenic swimming pool invites you to cool down, float, relax, and enjoy the Mallorcan sunshine. The gardens and peaceful corners around the finca offer plenty of space for quiet moments, meaningful conversations, reading, dreaming, or simply doing nothing at all.

Son Sion gives us the freedom to create our own retreat world—a place where we can live, dance, eat, rest, laugh, and celebrate together.
