On the occasion of World Environment Day, a Mangrove Cleaning Drive was organised at Murungapakkam by Universal Eco Foundation in collaboration with the NSS Unit of Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus 🌱. Students actively participated in cleaning the mangrove forest and nearby river areas, removing over 300 kg of plastic and non-biodegradable waste, contributing towards environmental conservation and ecosystem protection. The presence of Chief Guest Mr. C. Aiyappan and dignitaries including Dr. M. Bubesh Gupta inspired participants to adopt sustainable practices and protect natural habitats.
