SVCET Institution Innovation Council organized an expert talk titled “Building a Doctor in Your Pocket: How AI is Powering the Future of Healthcare Apps.” The session was delivered by Dr. Dhanalakshmi Venugopal, Department of Computing & Electronics Engineering, Middle East College, Muscat, Oman, who also has strong industry experience from Verizon India.

The talk highlighted how artificial intelligence was applied in healthcare applications for early diagnosis, remote monitoring, personalized healthcare support, and intelligent decision-making, helping students understand the real-world impact of AI in the medical domain. The interaction also inspired innovation thinking and industry readiness among students. The program was conducted on 20.01.2026 exclusively for our Computer science and Bio Medical Engineering students.
