Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Integral Management (SAFIM) is a Center of Excellence in Management striving for an integral approach to leadership and management in all its multiple dimensions, based on a deeper vision of life. SAFIM was started in 2008 in Sri Aurobindo Society as a step into the business world with an aim to create the right environment conducive to true progress of organizations t

owards success - both materialistic and fulfilling its larger social responsibilities. Based on our study of the global corporate scenario and the phenomenon of human conditions, SAFIM is trying to define new paradigms of leadership based on the human aspects of values, beauty, compassion, harmony and a deep sense of universal inter connectivity. Our approach towards management is multidimensional, based on a deep and holistic vision of life. We call it ‘Management by Consciousness’. The aim is to enable individuals, and subsequently organizations, towards greater self-awareness and effective self-management to unleash and leverage the huge inner potential latent in every individual. With extensive research in the field of Integral Management SAFIM has been successful in developing a synthesis between the frontier management methodologies practiced globally in the corporate world with the deeper yogic insights based on inner consciousness
creating new paradigms of leadership and management. SAFIM has been bringing these paradigms to the business world through corporate Learning and Development interventions, nurturing sessions, seminars and conferences. In these interventions, the discussions are based on subjects and situations aligned to contemporary corporate needs with an underlying orientation towards a deeper approach to these aspects. In its brief journey so far, SAFIM has achieved accreditation by National Foundation for Corporate Governance (NFCG) as National Centre for Corporate Governance.

If the aspiration is there in you, if the will is there in you, it is absolutely certain that sooner or later you will succeed. And I am saying this for people who live in very ordinary circumstances, less favourable perhaps than yours, but who can, even so, learn to know themselves and conquer themselves,master themselves, control themselves. Therefore, if the conditions are favourable you have a much greater chance of succeeding.One thing is always necessary, not to give up the game - for it is a great game and the result is worth the trouble of playing it through.

REPUBLIC DAY OF INDIA—January 26

In India, the Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on January 26, 1950, with a democratic government system, completing the country's transition toward becoming an independent republic.

When the Mother was asked “What is the duty of every Indian today?” (Query posed in the 1960s and Her insightful and practical reply is very relevant even now.)

She replied: “Overgrow your small egoistic personality and become a worthy child of our Mother India, fulfil your duties with honesty and rectitude, and always keep cheerful and confident, with a steady trust in the Divine’s Grace.”
