All our alumni are benefitted with the quality of education that has been imparted to them at this institute. I request with admire all benefactors to join us in celebrating the Golden Jubilee. Golden Jubilee will be celebrated to remark accomplishment of the very intent of establishing this institute. The institute has achieved and accomplished it basic goal of affordable quality technical education to GOAN STUDENTS. The fact is very well known to the state of Goa. With great respect to our alumni I request them to help sustain this Institution of Excellence. Government of Goa is continuously funding many of the infrastructure facilities at GEC campus from last 15 years. Government has brought in many of the new facilities like, new department building for ETC- department, IT- Department, Mining Department, New Girls Hostel, New Boys hostel, new department blocks for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical and Computer Engineering Departments. New laboratories, Industrial Robotics, etc. In the recent fast Government has invested about more than 75 crore in the campus. I am sure that all citizens are appreciating Government of Goa effort in bringing quality Technical education to Students at this Campus. Technical Education in this country is rapidly changing and importance of skill development is envisaged. Imparting quality technical education and skill development has become a challenging task in the present scenario. One will really admire that Government Authorities are working hard to meet this challenges. To meet new challenges and develop Technical skills we need develop facilities that match the institutes of higher excellence like NITs and IITs. Also we need to develop facilities that are conducive. Our campus environment and surroundings need to be upgraded to bring in study environment. On the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebration, we are determined to bring in changes and planned many new facilities to be housed at the campus. I along with organizing committee members request you to support this cause. There are many proposal put up on this website with approximate cost of each proposals. Individual alumni and companies and group of graduates can sponsor these facilities for the students of this campus. I am sure this support will go long way in bring up technical education in the state of Goa and take this campus one of the best institutes in this part of the world.
