From Early Intervention to Mainstream School 🌱✨

We are proud to share a heartwarming milestone from OutReach Special School.

A 5-year-old child who joined our Early Intervention Program 1.5 years ago with developmental delays and mild autistic features—such as lack of eye contact, no name response, echolalia, and slow processing—has now successfully transitioned towards mainstream schooling.

At the time of admission, the parents were deeply worried, especially after multiple autism diagnoses from different therapy centers. With consistent support through Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Sensory Integration, and Pre-academic training, the child has shown remarkable progress.

Today, he is school-ready—and this journey stands as a testament to early intervention, teamwork, and parental trust.

This achievement brings immense joy and pride to our entire team. 💙

Every child deserves the right support at the right time.

Blessings Through “Padapoojai" A Special Moment of Gratitude
Our NIOS Secondary level students at OutReach Remedial Center received the heartfelt blessings of their parents through the sacred ritual of Padapooja as they prepare for their upcoming practical examinations in March 2026.

Each step these students have taken reflects determination, strength, and the unwavering support of their families and educators.

🌟 Successfully Completed: 3-Day Comprehensive Training Programme on NDD 🌟

A 03-day Comprehensive Training Programme on Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NDD) was successfully organized by Arumpukal Child Development Center, Jaffna, and conducted by the expert team from OutReach Special School, Pollachi —

📅 12–14 January 2026

📍 Teaching Hospital, Ministry of Health, Jaffna

The programme was designed for Medical and Rehabilitation Professionals and witnessed the active participation of 35 professionals from different states of Sri Lanka. The sessions focused on enhancing knowledge, early identification, and effective intervention strategies for children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
🙏 We thank all participants and organizers for making this programme impactful and meaningful towards strengthening inclusive and specialized care.
