*SHAPES DAY CELEBRATION*

SHANTINIKETAN’s Grade 1 little mathematicians celebrated *Shapes Day* with excitement and creativity! The classroom was decorated with colorful 2D and 3D shapes, and our young learners explored the world of shapes through speeches, rhymes, and projects.
*Program Highlights:*
🌸 *Welcome Speech* – _F. Mohammed Rayyaan_ warmly welcomed everyone to Shapes Day.
📐 *2D Shapes Facts Speech*
Our students shared interesting facts about flat shapes:
- *B. Rifah* – Circle
- *P. Achuthan* – Triangle
- *B.A. Ritharshana* – Square
- *D.R. Kavin Kishore* – Rectangle
🎵 *Shapes Rhymes (Group)* – All Grade 1 children sang fun rhymes about shapes and danced with cut-outs.
🧊 *3D Shapes Facts Speech*
Students explained solid shapes we see around us:
- *V. Krithvik Ayansh* – Cube
- *G. Thiruvishakan* – Cone
- *P.A. Sivanya* – Sphere
- *S.S. Padmavathi* – Cylinder
- *B. Kathirav* – Cuboid
🎨 *Project Display* – Children displayed beautiful craft work: shape houses, robots, animals and vehicles made using different shapes.
🙏 *Vote of Thanks* – _N. Sana Afreen_ thanked the Principal, teachers, and parents for their support.
Shapes Day helped our Grade 1 students to recognize, name, and understand shapes in a fun and engaging way. Learning was full of colors, music, and hands-on activities!
