Nachiar Vidyalayam

Nachiar Vidyalayam "NACHIAR VIDYALAYAM" run by "The Mariappa Foundation" was started by Mrs. Manorama Chinnaswamy in t It has a student strength of around 850 children.

"Nachiar Vidyalayam" is an English Medium, Higher Secondary school. The school besides providing quality education also makes sure that each and every child is part of various extra & co- curricular activities that are part of its curriculam. "The Nachiar Academy for Performing Arts" ( NAPA) was launched in 2004. Through this ageis Carnatic Music, Bharatanatyam, Dramatics, Yoga, Karate, Mallakham

b are now part of the school curriculam. Sports forms a very important part of the child's routine at Nachiar Vidyalayam. Basket Ball, Football,Kho-Kho, Throwball & Volley ball besides varoius Track & Field events are an import part of the school's activities. Children also participate in Debates, Quiz Programs, Elocution, various Art & Craft activities & Environmental Isssues throughout the year. The School has 9 school buses which provide safe transport for children, covering a distance of around 25 kms. The School has the support of more than 75 teaching &administrative & support staff to run the day to day activities of the school.
