The Institute is Approved by Government of Uttarakhand and Accredited by Uttarakhand Nurses & Midwifery Council and Uttarakhand Paramedical Council. For Clinical practice of Nursing and Paramedical Courses PGI is Affiliated with B.D. Panday District Hospital Pithoragarh and District Mahila Hospital Pithoragarh having 182 beds. Pithoragarh College of Nursing under PGi is offering full time courses in Nursing like GNM and B.Sc. The syllabus of these courses are designed according to the syllabus of Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. Pithoragarh Institute of Biomedical Science under PGI is offering Paramedical courses like Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology(BMLT), Bachelor of Medical Radio Diagnosis and Imaging Technology(BMRIT), B.Sc Optometry, B.Sc Operation Theatre Technology (BOTT), Diploma in Dialysis Technology & Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT).
