🌍✨ World Tourism Day Celebration 2026 | The Hotel School ✨🌍

This World Tourism Day, students of The Hotel School stepped beyond the classroom to experience tourism first-hand through a field-based learning activity at India Gate, Delhi.

As part of their “Tourist Interaction and Responsible Tourism – A Field Study of Delhi” assignment, students interacted with real tourists, understood their travel experiences and expectations, and observed the destination from a traveller’s perspective.

The activity encouraged students to:
🗣️ Build confidence through meaningful conversations with tourists
🤝 Practise professional and respectful tourist interaction
🌏 Understand different cultures, travel motivations and visitor expectations
📍 Observe tourist facilities, cleanliness, accessibility, safety and destination management
♻️ Create awareness about responsible and sustainable tourism
💡 Identify challenges and suggest practical ways to improve the tourist experience

Most importantly, students learn by doing—developing communication, hospitality, observation, teamwork, cultural awareness and professional etiquette in a real tourism environment. The assignment also encouraged them to reflect on their experiences and connect classroom concepts with actual tourism practices.
A day of interaction, exploration, learning and confidence-building—turning tourism education into real-world experience! 🌍✨

The learning continues! Our Orientation Batch at The Hotel School, New Delhi stepped into Day 2 of their exciting Cocktails & Mocktails practical session.

From understanding beverage techniques to focusing on presentation, creativity, preparation and professional service, our students continued developing practical skills that are essential for a successful career in the hospitality industry.

Republic Day Celebrations at The Hotel School!

The Hotel school celebrates Republic Day every year. For this year, the celebration of Republic Day started with welcoming of guests Mr Anil Bhat, CEO of The Hotel School, Mr Girish Pandey, Assistant Director of The Hotel School and the other faculty members. Students welcomed them.
Students were very keen to celebrate the day and they had decorated the venue tastefully. The event got underway with the speech of Mr Anil Bhat, CEO of The Hotel School, followed by performances by students. Mr. Anil Bhat told the significance of the day and how can we contribute towards the society and nation as a responsible citizen of the country so that our country will be able to make substantial progress. Students came up with stunning performances which were full of patriotism. Everybody present in the event got thrilled having viewed their performances.
Performances were followed by a short speech by Mr Girish Pandey. He appreciated the performances displayed by the students. The best three performances were awarded certificates along with the medals for their performances.
At the end of the ceremony, a thank you speech was given by Ms Shwetangi.
