Guru Nanak Jayanti 2021 is one of the auspicious days for all the Sikhs as it marks the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru and the founder of Sikhism. On this holy day, devotees gather and offer prayers to Guru Nanak Dev Ji and take out Prabhat Pheris and sing hymns. Also, grand feasts also called 'Langars' are organised in gurudwaras for everyone.

अश्विन महिन्यातील अमावास्येला लक्ष्मीपूजन झाल्यानंतर कार्तिक शुद्ध प्रतिपदेला बलिप्रतिपदा हा दिवस दिवाळी पाडवा म्हणून साजरा केला जातो. सोने खरेदीस प्राधान्य, सुवासिनींकडून पतीला औक्षण, व्यापाऱ्यांसाठी वर्षाचा प्रारंभ अशा अनेक बाजूंनी या दिवसाचे महत्त्व अधोरेखित केले जाते. पाडव्याला पंचरंगी रांगोळीने बळीची प्रतिमा काढून तिचे पूजन करतात. 'इडा, पीडा टळो आणि बळीचे राज्य येवो', अशी प्रार्थना या दिवशी केली जाते. फटाक्यांची आतषबाजी, तसेच दीपोत्सवही केला जातो. या दिवसाचे वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे साडेतीन मुहूर्तांपैकी एक असा हा दिवस अतिशय शुभ मानला जातो.

20th October 2021 shall be written in the letters of Gold in the History of SNBP Group of Institutions. A cultural event par excellence was hosted at Shaniwarwada by the SNBPians in collaboration with the Indian Army in honor of the Swarnim Vijay Mashal which arrived at the venue at 5.40 pm. Reverberating Army Band and the students’ chorus of Jai ho accompanied by the release of the Tri Colour Balloons filled the atmosphere with utmost patriotic fervor, gaiety and festivity.

Major General JK Gera and the Member of the Parliament Shri Girish Bapat were the Special guests for the event. War Veteran Group Captain Shri Sardesai and Veer Nari Smt PhulaTai wife of GDR Maruti Mahadevrao Mane were felicitated at the event.
