POCSO Awareness Programme at Ben-Hur Gurukul ,Tanakpur Road Campus, Pilibhit

Ben-Hur Gurukul, Tanakpur Road Campus organised an awareness programme on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, as part of the Special Awareness Campaign initiated by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Pilibhit.

The programme was graced by Mrs. Shweta Dixit, Additional Principal Judge, Family Court; Mr. Arun Kranti, DLSA; Mr. Saksham Shekhar, Civil Judge (Junior Division); and the DPRO, who interacted with the students and sensitised them about child safety, their rights, safe and unsafe situations, and the importance of speaking up and seeking help.

The dignitaries also apprised the students of the helpline numbers available for children and women, encouraging them to seek timely assistance and support whenever required.

The session was informative, interactive and meaningful, providing students with valuable awareness about their safety, rights and available support systems.

A significant initiative towards fostering a safer, more informed and empowered environment for every child.

Celebrating 150 Years of Vande Mataram 🇮🇳

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of our National Song, “Vande Mataram,” celebrated on 25th September 2026, the students of Ben-Hur Gurukul, Tanakpur Road Campus, paid a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of patriotism by reciting this iconic song.

With pride in their hearts and respect for the nation, the students came together to honour the timeless words that have inspired generations of Indians.

The rendition reflected the students’ love for the motherland and their deep sense of national pride.

🥗Nutrition Day Activity at Ben-Hur Gurukul🥗

A Nutrition Day Activity was organised at Ben-Hur Gurukul, Tanakpur Road Campus for the students of PNC to KG to promote awareness about healthy eating habits.

The activity began with an engaging movie on healthy and unhealthy food choices, followed by an interactive quiz where students identified different foods and learnt about the importance of choosing nutritious options.

Adding a practical and enjoyable touch to the activity, students brought tiffins filled with healthy and nutritious food. They happily shared and enjoyed their wholesome meals while reinforcing the importance of making healthy food choices.

The activity was a fun-filled and meaningful learning experience, helping our little learners understand that healthy food leads to a healthy and happy life.

Our little learners from Playgroup to KG celebrated Nutrition Day with fun-filled and engaging classroom activities focused on healthy food and nutritious choices.

Through the delightful story of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” children explored different fruits, vegetables and foods while learning the importance of choosing healthy and nutritious options for their growth.

The Playgroup to NC students enjoyed playful activities that made learning about healthy food exciting and meaningful. Our KG students took their creativity a step further by making colourful healthy plates using clay, pictures and craft materials, helping them understand the idea of a balanced meal.

It was a joyful day of storytelling, creativity, discovery and healthy learning, making Nutrition Day a memorable experience for our little ones!

🎭 Puppet Show at Ben-Hur Gurukul 🎭

A delightful and meaningful Puppet Show was organised at Ben-Hur Gurukul, Tanakpur Road Campus for the young learners of PNC to KG.

Based on the theme “Always Speak the Truth, Never Tell a Lie,” the engaging puppet show conveyed an important moral lesson in a fun and child-friendly manner.

The little ones thoroughly enjoyed the colourful characters and entertaining presentation while learning the value of honesty and truthfulness.

The activity beautifully combined learning with entertainment, leaving the children with a simple yet powerful message: Always speak the truth! 🌟

🏐🏆 Ben-Hur Gurukul Girls Crowned Champions;
Boys Finish as Runners-Up in Inter-School Volleyball Championship

An exciting Inter-School Volleyball Championship for Senior Boys and Senior Girls was organised at Ben-Hur Public School, Pilibhit, bringing together enthusiastic young athletes in a spirited display of talent, teamwork and sportsmanship.

In a remarkable performance, the Ben-Hur Gurukul Girls’ Team emerged victorious, defeating Ben-Hur Public School in straight sets (25–15, 25–18) to lift the championship trophy.

The team displayed exceptional determination, sharp serving, agile defence and excellent coordination throughout the match.

Navreet Kaur and Harkirat Kaur led from the front and played a crucial role in securing the victory.

In the Boys’ Category, the Ben-Hur Gurukul team put up a commendable fight but went down against Ben-Hur Public School in straight sets (10–25, 17–25), securing the Runner-Up Trophy.

The championship concluded on a high note, with enthusiastic applause and appreciation for all the participating teams. The Management of Ben-Hur congratulated the girls on their well-deserved victory and applauded the boys for their dedication, perseverance and true spirit of sportsmanship.

🌸 A Memorable Teachers’ Trip to Amritsar

Ben-Hur Public School, Ben-Hur Kids World and Ben-Hur Gurukul, Pilibhit, organised a memorable and rejuvenating teachers’ trip to Amritsar, offering the teachers a wonderful opportunity to unwind, reconnect and create cherished memories together.

The journey began with a visit to the Golden Temple, where the teachers sought blessings and experienced the serenity of the sacred shrine.

They also paid their respects to the martyrs at Jallianwala Bagh and witnessed the captivating Retreat Ceremony at the Attari-Wagah Border, which left everyone enthralled.

The group further immersed themselves in the vibrant spirit of Punjabi culture at Sadda Pind and Gobindgarh Fort, enjoying authentic Punjabi cuisine, folk dances, traditional games and a glimpse into the rich heritage and village lifestyle of Punjab.

Beyond the sightseeing and cultural experiences, the trip provided a much-needed break from the daily routine. The teachers enjoyed, relaxed, laughed and spent quality time together, strengthening bonds of friendship and camaraderie.

It was truly a refreshing, joyful and memorable experience, filled with togetherness, cultural richness and countless moments to cherish ✨🌸

🎊Educational Trip to Jim Corbett, Ramnagar – Classes XI & XII

Ben-Hur Gurukul,Tanakpur Road Campus organised an exciting educational trip to Ramnagar–Jim Corbett for Classes XI & XII on 13th & 14th September 2026, with 31students and 2 teachers.

The trip was planned to give students meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom while also allowing them to relax, explore and enjoy with their friends. From swimming, cricket and indoor games to a visit to Hanuman Dham, the first day was filled with fun and memorable moments, followed by a lively evening of bonfire, music and dance.

On Day 2, students explored the Jim Corbett Museum and visited Garjiya Devi Temple, gaining insights into history, wildlife and spirituality.

It was a wonderful blend of learning, exploration, fun and togetherness, and our students returned with happy hearts and unforgettable memories💫

🌾 Educational Trip to Pratapgarh Farm & Resort – Classes IX & X

Ben-Hur Gurukul, Tanakpur Road Campus, organized an enriching educational trip to Pratapgarh Farm & Resort, Haryana, for 34 students and 3 teachers of Classes IX & X.

The visit offered students an immersive experience of rural life and sustainable living. They explored the Dairy Farm, Biogas Plant and Herb Garden, gaining valuable insights into organic farming and traditional practices. Students also enthusiastically participated in hands-on activities such as pottery, charkha weaving and ghee making.

The adventure continued with exciting experiences including camel, bullock-cart and tractor rides, along with a refreshing tubewell and mud bath. Students also enjoyed DJ and Dholki dance and participated in traditional games such as Gilli Danda, Pithoo and Archery. The experience was made even more delightful with a taste of authentic rural cuisine.

It was a memorable journey that beautifully combined experiential learning, cultural exposure, adventure and fun, leaving the students with cherished memories and a deeper appreciation for India’s rich rural heritage. 🌾
