Department of Economics and Finance, BITS Pilani, Pilani campus, in association with the Economics and Finance Association and Economic and Political Weekly Research Foundation (EPWRF) is organizing an orientation session on the EPWRF India Time Series (EPWRFITS), a unique online database with its comprehensive coverage of Indian economy for a fairly long time period and it comprises over lakh variables capsuled in various modules.
EPWRF India Time Series is Structured in 29 Modules, including (i) Financial Markets; (ii) Banking Statistics; (iii) Domestic Product of States of India; (iv) Agricultural Statistics; (v) Price Indices; (vi) Power Sector; (vii) Industrial Production; (viii) Finances of Government of India; (ix) Combined Government Finances; (x) Annual Survey of Industries; (xi) National Accounts Statistics of India; (xii) External Sector and (xiii) Finances of State Governments
Bipin K. Deokar is the resource person for the session. He is currently Sr. Deputy Director of EPW Research Foundation (EPWRF), Mumbai. He has published several research articles in top journals of international and national repute.
