The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) was elaborately set up and inaugurated in Saffron Public School with the grant of Niti Ayog, Government of India. The lab was inaugurated by the honorable Principal of the school, Dr. Sandeepa Sood. The programme commenced seeking the divine blessings of the Almighty and with a formal welcome of the guests. The lab under the Atal Innovation Mission by NITI Aayog is well-equipped with educational learning “do it yourself kits”, electronic and robotic tools, 3D printers, ATL Drone Module, computational technology, sensors etc. to inculcate and develop scientific temperament in the young learners of today.
The day started with teacher’s training and later students training (classes VI – X) wherein they were trained on innovative and futuristic models of ultrasonic sensing instruments, Bluetooth controlled instruments, line following Robots, laser-based, automatic, robotic, and adaptive learning technology, and lots more by the assigned professional trainer, Mr. Tarun Singh from Stem Robo.
It was indeed a proud moment to witness the inauguration of the Atal Tinkering Lab with a vision to cultivate one million child innovators in India through the novel programme of establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratories in schools across the country.
