സെന്റ്.മേരീസ് കോളേജ് എൻഎസ്എസ് യൂണിറ്റിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ അരുമക്കൂട്- ഭവന നിർമ്മാണപദ്ധതിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി പണിയുന്ന വീടിന് , സെന്റ്.മേരീസ് ചാരിറ്റബിൾ ആൻഡ് എഡ്യൂക്കേഷണൽ സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെ പ്രസിഡൻറ് ഫാ. സജി ജോബ് മുണ്ടക്കൽ ശിലാസ്ഥാപനം നിർവഹിച്ചു . വെങ്ങോല പഞ്ചായത്ത് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് ഷെമിത ഷെറീഫ്, വൈസ് പ്രസിഡണ്ട് മുഹമ്മദ് വി എച്ച്, വാർഡ് മെമ്പർ അഡ്വ.ബേസിൽ കുര്യാക്കോസ്, കോളേജ് മാനേജർ ബേസിൽ വറുഗീസ്, വൈസ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പാൾ ഫാ. എബിൻ കെ എല്യാസ് എൻഎസ്എസ് എറണാകുളം ജില്ലാ കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ഫാ. എൽദോസ് കെ ജോയ് ,പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസർമാരായ ആശ ടി ആർ, സന്ധ്യ രഞ്ജിത്,വോളന്റിയർ സെക്രട്ടറിമാരായ സൂര്യകിരൺ, മരിയറ്റ്,ഒബേദ്,ആർദ്ര എന്നിവർ ചടങ്ങിൽ സംബന്ധിച്ചു. ‎

St. Mary’s College of Commerce and Management Studies, Thuruthiply

The Onam celebration at St. Mary’s College, Thuruthiply was conducted on 26th and 27th August 2025 with much grandeur and festive cheer.

The celebrations began with the Oath taking ceremony of new College Union 2025-26 Academic year. The formal function was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp.

Traditional art forms like Kaikottikkali,dance, traditional games brought alive the essence of Kerala’s cultural heritage. The rhythmic beats of the Shingari Melam created a vibrant atmosphere.

Various Onam games, including Vadamvali, Uriyadi, and fun activities, encouraged active participation from students with the support of staff. The highlight of the celebration was the grand Onam Sadhya, where everyone gathered together to enjoy the traditional feast.

The two-day celebration truly reflected the spirit of Onam – unity, prosperity, and joy, in college campus.
