DAHI HANDI CELEBRATION 2025

Sweeter than honey, tastier than curd, and more delightful than any joy is the power of Krishna's name and the bliss of His divine presence. The birth of Lord Krishna, celebrated as Krishna Janmashtami, is observed with great devotion and enthusiasm throughout India. This sacred festival falls on the Ashtami Tithi, the eighth day of the dark fortnight (Krishna Paksha) in the month of Shraavana. Revered as an avatar of Lord Vishnu, Krishna is cherished worldwide for His wisdom, charm, and playful nature.

On Saturday, 16th August 2025, our school joyfully celebrated this auspicious occasion with a vibrant Dahi Handi Celebration and a Fancy Dress Competition. Students participated wholeheartedly, filling the campus with energy, devotion, and excitement.

In the spirit of tradition, teams of students formed human pyramids and attempted to break the ‘Dahi Handi’—a pot filled with butter and curd—symbolizing Lord Krishna’s childhood mischief as the beloved Makhan Chor.

Rooted in the legendary tales of Krishna’s playful antics, the event brought alive the values of unity, teamwork, and joyous celebration. Cheers and applause echoed across the grounds as the handi was finally broken, creating a moment of triumph and delight.

The celebration beautifully captured the essence of Janmashtami, reminding everyone of the significance of faith, togetherness, and festive spirit. It was truly a memorable occasion that brought students and staff together in devotion and joy.

🇮🇳 Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebration at Our School 🇮🇳

Today, our school proudly celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas to honor the bravery and sacrifice of our Indian soldiers. The event was graced by the presence of Retired Army Personnel Mr. Babali Anant Dhuri as the Chief Guest.

In the presence of our enthusiastic students and the disciplined NCC Unit, the program was a heartfelt tribute to the heroes of Kargil. Mr. Dhuri shared inspiring words about the spirit of patriotism and the importance of remembering our brave soldiers.
