In India we are unable to use our resources for effective construction mainly due to lack of access to Architectural education. proposes to bridge this gap of educational prosperity of Architecture by establishing an Architecture College, “Al Salama Institute of Architecture”. As an institution committed to create architects of highest competence, commitment and ethics to satisfy the requirements of the society and nation, we perceive a vision to mould effective, efficient and technically qualified architects. In this process we consider architecture other than designing and constructing buildings and other physical structures also which includes design of the total built environment, from the macro level of how a building integrates with its surrounding landscape to the micro level of architectural and construction details thus building a healthy and sustainable world for future generations.

Abate Institute of Architecture welcomed the Council of Architecture Review Team, comprising Dr. N. Jothilakshmy (Saveetha College of Architecture & Design, Chennai) and Dr. Sameer Deshkar (Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur). The team conducted a comprehensive review of the institute and appreciated the academic works of students, infrastructure, along with the dedication of the Principal, HoD, senior faculty members, other faculty, support staff, and the management. They also shared constructive observations and recommendations to strengthen the overall framework of quality and institutional development.

Upon receiving my B.Arch., I dedicated myself to helping countless young creative minds achieve their own B.Arch. As I progressed and earned my M.Arch., I continued this commitment, ensuring that many aspiring architects attained their master’s degrees. Now, with God’s grace and hard work, I have achieved the highest academic honor—a doctoral degree. This accomplishment enables me to envision guiding young, dynamic aspiring researchers toward fulfilling their dreams of earning a PhD. At every stage—whether UG, PG, or PhD—there must always be a ‘one’ who leads: a teacher and a student, walking the path together.

We are honoured to have Prof.Harimohan Pillai Sir join us for the interim progress review of our Urban Design Studio 2024. This academic project aims to enhance students' understanding of urban design principles through a blend of theoretical and practical learning experiences. The studio focuses on an in-depth study and analysis of the Kala Ghoda precinct in Mumbai, giving students the chance to apply the urban design theories and concepts discussed in class to a real-world setting. The first phase of the interactive dialogue series 2024 with architects was successfully held as part of an initiative to engage young, leading architectural practices in the region and connect them with students of the institution, offering insights into the profession's realities and challenges. These activities provide students with valuable insights into the profession's diverse opportunities. The sessions, held over recent months, featured participation from the following architects: Ar. Ar S Krishna Kumar of Aryarch Architects, Ar. Shabna Azeez of Zero Studio, Ar. Nithin Raj and Ar. Basil Vk of Barefoot Architects, and Ar. Ar Anand Vishnu of Studio Maram.
