Some days are not merely celebratedтАФthey are remembered, experienced and lived.
Today, the school family came together for a special tribute to the brave freedom fighters of India, turning another No Book Day into a vibrant journey through the pages of our glorious pastтАФthe pain of colonial oppression, the courage of our people and the long, inspiring struggle for freedom.
Hosted beautifully by Mr Sanjay Rai and Ms Namrata Tamang, the day unfolded with a wonderful array of activitiesтАФInter-Block Rangoli Competition, Notice Board Competition on тАЬIndiaтАЩs Struggle for FreedomтАЭ, Inter-House Integration Song Competition, Fashion Show, Inter-House Quiz Contest and Integration Dance by our little ones.
Adding depth to the occasion, Master Srijal Gurung of Class XI (Humanities) and Miss Khusbu Gurung of Class IX B addressed the gathering, sharing thoughtful reflections on IndiaтАЩs Struggle for Freedom and reminding everyone of the immense sacrifices that brought us the freedom we cherish today.
In his address, the Principal highlighted the responsibility of every Indian in shaping the nationтАЩs journey towards Viksit Bharat 2047. He reminded the students that the India of tomorrow will be built not only through dreams, but through responsibility, integrity, hard work, innovation and a deep sense of commitment towards the nation.
Fifteen members of our staff served as Special Guests for the day, adding a special warmth and dignity to the celebrations.
The spirit of the day had begun earlier with exciting sporting eventsтАФFutsal, Badminton and Table TennisтАФwith the deserving winners being felicitated during the evening Award Ceremony. ЁЯПЖ
