With chart busting tracks in films like Jab We Met , Love Aaj Kal, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Chameli, Rockstar, Aashiqui 2, Raanjhna and Mausam, Irshad Kamil Sir (Hindi/Urdu poet and lyricist) aims to continue his winning streak and is all set to reign on the Indian music industry.

We heartedly welcome him in the campus of NIT Patna. He will deliver a motivational Guest Lecture tommorow at 10:30 AM in Tennis Court.

CORONA-2014 – The CARNIVAL BEGINS……FOR NIT PATNA !!

Corona-2014, the Annual Techno-Management fest of NIT Patna shoots off to an exhilarating start on Saturday. Embracing 1500 plus participation from numerous engineering colleges across the country, the 3 day festival got underway at the National Institute of Technology Patna here on Saturday.
The fest got off to a scintillating start by the inspiring words and benign presence of Dr. M M Choudhary (dean students) and DR. A N Sinha. The events spanned over technical, motivational, and budding domain. A total of 15 technical events featured in five categories- Yantriki, ohm, concreate, Aayam and robotics which includes brace-o brain, the machinist, algo-z ripper, real estate, virtual zunkie, paper presentation and many more all designed to enhance and appraise the technical knowledge of the tyro but potent engineering brains. The event of the day "Reach the stars" which is A Starry event exclusively for Sky gazers and Astronomy lovers, introduced for the first time in CORONA respond a very huge number of participation.

The first day of the fest witnessed a vivacious guest lecture by Dr. Praveen Vettiyattil, CEO Sharda Solutions, a renowned name in the field of science and technology who has various patents and innovations to his name.
“Flash mob” added a startling dimension to the fest where a mob of 40 students created a debilitative effect easing out the pensive and technical atmosphere.
The fun events included angry birds and “Streets”-a dancing event which showcased cultural and extra curricular activities followed by a laser show organized by ”LASER SHOW INDIA” – a light effect that mesmerized the environment for 25 minutes.
The first day of the fest was in itself a complete package of entertainment and exposure characterized by panorama of erudition along with gaiety ambience.
