Come what may, stories should reach out to children in the most difficult and remote set-ups.

When the world is busy in their work, the team from Prayog is busy finding out ways to enhance the outreach and the pedagogy to deliver these stories in a thoughtful manner!

Last year, 2 of our team members attended a Course on Art Education and which is towards the completion this week. We really appreciate the thinking that has gone into designing this wonderful course, EdSparks Collective, by ! Truly recommend the communities here to learn more about arts and possibilities in which art needs to be integrated to education work. Also, very aptly facilitated!

We were on full re-think mode in the past few days and that really helped us towards shaping our next academic calendar. Thank you Theju for helping our team to be this path of thoughtful learning!

Our planning exercise for the next academic calendar begins to take a shape today!
What we did last year, what happened because of that, what should we do now and what next..a thorough exercise that would enable us to better reach out to children with our library!

Time flies by so quickly and it seems that in the matter of a flick of an eye, 18 months have gone. We are super proud of you and ! Your contribution in Bihar and in particular, to the children through your assistance in library work is immense. Your work at Prayog would be cherished for long...We wish that you keep inspiring the world around you, wherever you are may you keep spreading the joys of reading!

Children enjoy their free reading time in the library a lot. An 8 year old picks a book of his choice and sits on the stairs to explore the book while others form groups and explore the books together!
What brings them to the library is the team of educators who engage with the children to open up the collection with a diverse pool of activities.

Remembering Srinivasa Ramanujan on his birth anniversary. December 22nd is celebrated as National Mathematics Day in honour of Ramanujan's contributions to mathematics.

Today we are celebrating his inspiring life story by reading this amazingly written and illustrated book.

We had our own struggles finding good bookstores for children in the past. Bihar has few or none but Bangalore gave us so much to explore. Thank you for the kind of collection you have and also the way you supported us in exploring books of our choice, and to all the other bookstores here in the city! We shall keep coming more often and take these joys to our people in Bihar!

We always cherish any learning opportunity and it has been so enriching for the entire team here to discuss and learn our understanding and practices in library work.

Yesterday's session by Theju, on write-up (ofcourse a session in continuation..) made us all really reflect to capture the essence of the work by our writing!

Sharing the joy of libraries with communities! Our team set up pop-up libraries in Sapaha village, engaging children and community members. Books, laughter, and joy. What a beautiful evening it was!
