Red Day Celebration

Shemrock Nirmala Kids conducted ‘Red Day’ activity on 08th May , 2024 to introduce children into the mesmerizing realm of colours. The shades of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful.

‘Red’ colour symbolizes enthusiasm, life and vitality. The day started off with the colour red every- where red dress, red rose, red teddy, red car, red apples, red cherries, here a red………. there a red….. red red everywhere ……..our little ones spent a spectacular red day. Bulletin boards displayed red craft work made by the children.

The tiny tots looked stunning in their red outfits. Special assembly was conducted with emphasis on significance of red colour. The young ones sang Red Day song ‘My red balloon….’ ‘Apples are red… Roses are red…. I love red…red, red, red…’

Some of the students spoke a few sentences on the red object they brought from home. Teachers discussed the theme in circle time and linked it to all subjects.

It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness, joy, love and happiness.

The students of Shemrock Nirmala Kids celebrated Lemonade Day on 02 nd May, 2024.
All the teachers and the students were dressed in yellow outfit.

The activity was organised with the motive of knowledge sharing with the students. Students were taught about the benefits of using lemon during summers and to inculcate healthy eating habits from this tender age.

A health check up camp was organized by the Shemrock Nirmala Kids . Its main purpose was to maintain good health of the students. A health record was maintained for each student. After medical checkup a descriptive report for each student was provided. This helped parents in understanding the health of their ward.

Cooking without fire is a safe and educational activity for students. In this hands-on experience, students explore culinary skills without using traditional heat sources. They engage in preparing simple, no-cook recipes like salads, sandwiches, or fruit salads. Emphasizing creativity and nutrition, this activity promotes teamwork, enhances fine motor skills, and encourages healthy eating habits. Students learn about food combinations, presentation, and the importance of a balanced diet. This fire-free cooking experience not only sparks their interest in cooking but also fosters a sense of independence and responsibility in the kitchen, making it an enjoyable and educational endeavor for young learners.
