Prophet Mohammad(peace be upon him) said in his last pilgrimage speech, "I am going to keep two things for you, 1.The Noble Quran 2. My Sunnah(Hadith) as long as you hold this two tightly you won't be misguided"
Unfortunately, Most of the Muslims are far way from The Noble Quran and Sunnah(Hadith) so lots of misconceptions have been arisen.
Giving Islamic Dawah towards Non-Muslim is obligatory for Muslims. We have to tell them about Islam with Hikmah and Wisdom.
Allah says in Quran ch.no:16 v.no:125
Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best who have strayed from His Path and Who receive guidance.
The Noble Quran Ch.no:3 V.no:110
You are the best nation which has ever been raised for the guidance of mankind. You enjoin good, forbid evil, and believe in Allah. Had the People of the Book(Jews and Christians) believed, it would surely have been better for them; among them some are believers but most of them are transgressors.
The Noble Quran Ch.no:47 V.no:38
Behold, [O believers,] it is you who are called upon to spend freely in God's cause: but [even] among you are such as turn out to be niggardly! And yet, he who acts niggardly [in God's cause] is but niggardly towards his own self: for God is indeed self-sufficient, whereas you stand in need [of him]; and if you turn away [from him], He will cause other people to take your place, and they will not be the likes of you!

And so,[O prophet,] exhort them, thy task is only to exhort.

Who is better in speech than the one who calls people towards Allah, does good deeds and says: "I am a Muslim?"
