POLAND: CRACOW UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS
The Cracow University of Economics (CUE) was established in 1925, shortly after Poland had regained its independence after World War I. Since then, Cracow University of Economics has become a well-respected institution of higher education. GVSU and CUE (formerly known as the Academy of Economics) have mutually benefited from international cooperation through an exchange that started in 1975. This program is best suited for highly independent students who are seeking a full immersion experience in a Polish University. Currently, students are required to find their own accommodations, and will be required to navigate many administrative necessities with some limited on-site support.

The English Track Program offers courses in Polish language and culture , business, economics, political science, international relations, finance, marketing, and more.

It depends on where you're from. In general, Hong Kong has a pretty diverse culture and mix of people. If you have the cash, there's no dearth of sources of entertainment in the city. However, people are very reserved here. People clicking away on their cell phone screens is not only the commonest sight here, it sometimes is the only sight. So if you're a private person, you'd certainly find your peace here. But yes, it does get crowded in the metro stations.

As far as studying goes, the universities here are pretty good. Half of the universities in Hong Kong feature in the top 100 universities in the world in Engineering and Business.* One piece of information you won't find online is that the Chinese students, who comprise more than 80% of the student body, don't like asking too many doubts in class, so just thought this might be pertinent.

Matriculation in a Bachelor's degree program.
Fashion Business Management students must obtain academic advisement and approval of the department Chairperson/Advisor. Students may participate in their 5th or 6th semesters.
Fashion Design students must obtain academic advisement and approval of the department Chairperson/Advisor. Students may participate during their 6th or 7th semester.

Participants in University of Chicago Study Abroad programs pay the same tuition as if they were on campus, plus a non-refundable study abroad administrative fee and, in most cases, a program fee set by the College. Each program fee includes housing and subsidizes the cost of excursions and instruction; please visit the specific program pages for precise fees. Financial Aid and Scholarship & Grant opportunities are available.

All charges, except for the administrative fee, are billed by and paid to the University of Chicago Bursar. For one-quarter programs the charges are applied solely to that quarter’s bill. For academic-year programs the administrative fee is billed in the first quarter of the program only. Participants in Chicago-sponsored programs abroad are not charged Chicago’s Student Life fee during the quarter(s) of their participation.

The Faculty of Dentistry at The University of Hong Kong is the premier dental school in Southeast Asia and the only institution in Hong Kong that provides undergraduate and postgraduate dental degrees. The Faculty was established in 1982 and is located in the Prince Philip Dental Hospital in Sai Ying Pun on Hong Kong Island.

Programme Aims and Features

The faculty aims to educate and train students on the BDS curriculum to become dentists, as part of its mission of providing oral healthcare for individuals and the community in Hong Kong. The integrated Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) curriculum is outcomes- and competency-based and adopts a problem-based learning approach. The dental degree curriculum lasts six years.

Learning mainly takes place in the Prince Philip Dental Hospital, the only dental teaching hospital in Hong Kong, but some also takes place in the general medical wards and surgical wards and theatres of the University Departments of Medicine and Surgery, and with oral and maxillofacial patients in the Queen Mary Hospital. Learning occurs at a variety of other dental clinics and centres of oral-health education throughout Hong Kong.

Professional Recognition

The Degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) at The University of Hong Kong is recognised as a registrable primary qualification by the Dental Council of Hong Kong (DCHK). The BDS degree has been accredited by the DCHK, which has affirmed the specified status of The University of Hong Kong in section 8(1)(b) of the Dentists Registration Ordinance.

Study Abroad Program Overview
Study global business in Hong Kong and Shanghai with the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). The intensive summer program is designed to provide in-depth understanding of recent economic developments and first-hand experience of diverse business environments in China.

This multi-site summer program is just four weeks long. Two weeks are spent in Hong Kong at the HKU campus on the slopes of Hong Kong Island facing Victoria Harbor, just minutes from Hong Kong’s bustling and key financial district. Two weeks are spent in Shanghai exploring the same course topics with the opportunity to observe current initiatives and projects undertaken in this distinctive and newer global center. The result? Steps to Apply for Hong Kong Universities
• Submit an online application through your chosen university's website.
• Make a copy of your online application by printing it out.
• Also print out and complete your application record sheet.
• If you will be an exchange student supported by your home institution, have them complete the endorsement part of the application record sheet.
• Submit your application to your chosen Hong Kong University's Academic department before the deadline. Aside from the online application form and application record sheet, include your supporting documents and application fee.
