In order to scale the heights and reach the Pinnacle of success, Delhi World Public School, Patna always strives to inculcate a sense of responsibility and commitment among the students with their heads held high, ready to shoulder responsibilities as leaders.
With the beginning of the new academic session ,an investiture ceremony was organized on the 11th May,2024.
A spirit of unity and dynamism filled the air as the Grand Ceremony commenced with the Lighting of the auspicious Lamp of Knowledge followed by the soulful rendition of the Prayer.
The Investiture Ceremony is a solemn occasion wherein all the young students are well prepared to don the mantle of leadership and responsibility while carrying it out with utmost dedication. Initially, the candidates had prepared and presented strong speeches in front of all the students and teachers in order to qualify for the Elections. A democratic voting procedure was set in pace which ultimately formed the school student council of the year 2024.
The newly elected student council members pledged to work earnestly and uphold the honour and glory of the institution while receiving their prestigious Flag, badge and sash from the Guest Of Honour Sri Bishnu Shankar Prasad ,a renowned Principal of The Mount School,Director Administration of The Mount School Sri Satyakaam Sahay , Sarpanch Sri Sunil Kumar Singh and Principal of school Dr.Kalpana Thakur .House Masters,The Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains and House Captains stood tall while holding the flags of DWPS as destiny prepared itself to bring in many more laurels to the institution.
It was a proud moment for all Students being invested great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders. The Principal , gave a speech to the children regarding upholding the legacy of the school and the importance of leadership qualities and tips on how turn out to be a leader. She encouraged students to always walk on the correct path and be the change and motivated the children to keep moving forward despite all the obstacles and challenges that life throws in front of us. She said that being a leader is a vital role and that the new Student Council would have ample responsibilities to shoulder.
With the flags held high and heads standing tall, the ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.

SEWA (Social Empowerment through Work Education and Action) an endeavour by CBSE is a program that aims to focus on the mental, emotional and social health of a student. SEWA aims to develop a whole person in their intellectual, personal, social, emotional and social growth.
Students of DELHI WORLD PUBLIC SCHOOL PATNA yesterday on the occasion of LABOUR DAY performed “SEWA” and provided Rahgirs with drinks made by them to quench RAHGIR’S thirst in this extreme weather condition. Students received lots of blessings and also understood the importance of every act of service how small it might seem
Students also worked in a team and showed compassion.
