Amaresh Shanker after his return to India from the USA where he had gone on a “Rotary Foundation Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarship". Since then, TCS has been involved in providing career guidance to prospective students who wish to pursue higher studies abroad in search of vectored growth and knowledge and thereby to adopt a promising and rewarding career. At TCS, the students are provided all sorts of assistance….from selection of a right course to finally arriving at a campus abroad. In the year 1991, TCS caught attention of some of the universities from abroad. which eventually resulted in establishing agreements for the purpose of recruiting students. And since then, there is no looking back. As of now, TCS officially represents several universities from outside India (Switzerland, UK, USA, Singapore, Canada, New Zealand, Phillipines, Romania, Cyprus, Ireland, Australia etc.) . It is worth mentioning that universities from abroad started visiting the office of TCS soon after, the University of Canberra being the first. Since then, universities like, Charles Sturt University, Central Queensland University, Victoria University of Technology, Deakin University, University of Canberra, UWIC, Swiss Hotel Management School, Hotel Institute Montreux, IHTTI, Switzerland etc. have visited the office of TCS and have been successful in recruiting students from this sector. TCS represents and sends students to many universities outside India. To name a few: Queensland University of Technology, Griffith University, University of Wollongong, University of Tasmania, Central Queensland University, University of Canberra, University of Notre Dame etc. etc We have relationship with many more universities ( North Western University, Hawaii Pacific, The Presidents’ Network. Inc. ( as an Affiliate of The Presidents’ Network, Inc., TCS represents more than 45 US universities), European University, Maritime Greenwich College, London, institutions (SHMS, HIM, IHTII, Caesar Ritz, Culinary School of Management etc for the entire Eastern India) from Switzerland, Canadian Universities, Universities from South Africa, Cyprus, France etc etc. Basically, from all parts the world where students are interested.. TCS has attended many educational conferences upon invitation. To name a few: Aust-India New Horizon Conference, Candip-Expo, ICEF, The South Asia Workshop on 8th And 9th Dec. 2000 organized by ICEF, Berlin, Germany etc. TCS has again been invited at the forthcoming ICEF Workshop in China, Langton Workshop, WEBA Conference 2013 at London & at Dubai ....New York / Switzerland, USA, Italy and CIEET 2013, Recently proposed Education Fair in Bangladesh, Hongkong. Target Counselling Services had been an AAERI ( Association of Australian Education Representatives in India --AAERI is supported by the Australian High Commission, New Delhi / www.aaeri.org) member ( 1996-2012) since its inception in October, 1996. TCS has also been listed on Education UK site of ‘The British Council’. Between Dec, 2012 and February, 2013, several Universities from UK, Australia, Switzerland, etc will visit us ( at Kolkata, Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Patna, Varanasi…) to recruit students. We will now have CONFIRMED 16 ( at least) Student Information /Recruitment Seminars in the coming months. In order to generate interest among the potential students, TCS regularly visits local institutions wherever possible. In the Last 20 years, Target Counselling Services has successfully provided opportunities to thousands of students to avail a high standard of academic training from developed countries and to experience technological advancement and scientific accomplishment
