Yoga exists in the world because everything is linked. When you inhale, you are taking the strength from God. When you exhale, it represents the service you are giving to the world.
Yoga is like music. The rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind and the harmony of the soul creates the symphony of life.
The 4th International Yoga Day was celebrated in the school premises today. The students, teachers and staff of Veena Vidya Niketan School practiced Yoga together, instructed by the H&PE Facilitator and driven by the Principal Mr. Minhaz Khan.

Veena Vidya Niketan School takes immense pleasure in announcing the commencement of the 1st Rajeev Pratap Singh Memorial All India Basketball Men's Championship.
The inauguration was held today at 5pm in the school premises. Dignitaries present were Mayor of Patna Smt. Sita Sahu, Ex Mayor Shri Afzal Imam, MLA Shri Sanjeev Chaurasia, All India President of PSCWA Shri Syed Shamael, Secretary of Bihar Basketball Association Shri Sushilji.
The host of the event, Chairman of Veena Vidya Niketan School and Honourable MP (Vaishali) Shri Rama Kishore Singh welcomed the guests and the players with warmth and encouraged them to play with their best of skills.
3 matches were held today. ONGC VS CHATTISGARH, RAJASTHAN VS BIHAR, INDIAN ARMY VS UTTAR PRADESH.
The entire ambience was mesmerising as the first of its kind match began today at the school premises.

Another feather in the cap of Veena Vidya Niketan School. Saloni Kumari of Class 12 bagged the Gold Medal in Athletics in the prestigious Bihar Athletic Championship. She will now contest for the Nationals.
Her determination and hard work is taking her to places. The school believes in letting students choose their own dreams.
We wish Saloni all the best and complete help and cooperation from the school.

We usually forget to thank those people in the school without whom the smooth functioning of the school becomes impossible. Right from the security guard at the entrance , to the help who assists the students to the washroom.
On Labours Day today, the students of VVN took the opportunity to thank their Didi's and Bhaiya's who help them sail the ship of learning comfortably.

The first Rajeev Pratap Singh Memorial Awards was held amidst the who's who of the nation. The efforts and hard work of the students were recognised for the session 2017- 2018. They were awarded by the Honourable HRD Minister - State, Govt of India, SHRI UPENDRA KUSHWAHA. Shri Kushwaha delivered words of wisdom and encouragement. He emphasised on the importance of realizing ones potential and tapping it to achieve the highest summit of life.
The event took place in the school premises on 19th day of April 2018.

The students of Veena Vidya Niketan School came together to salute the spirit of brotherhood and reminded the importance of the constitution and the rights of the citizens.

The students of Veena Vidya Niketan School came out aggressively supporting the initiative - Against Child Marriage and Dowry. This initiative by the Bihar Government brought the children out in the streets and form a human chain in support of the cause.
The VVNites raised slogans, displayed placards and performed street drama "nukkad" depicting the prevailing sad situation of the society.
