Don Bosco Academy, Patna takes pride in announcing that our NCC cadet, Aadya Nandy has won a cash prize of ₹4,500 for her extraordinary performance in NCC . She has also been declared as the best cadet of the Patna group for the year 2025-2026.

On 26th April, 2026, Don Bosco Academy organised its ‘Annual Excellence Award Ceremony’ for the students of Classes IV to XI.

The institution has always believed in nurturing young minds not only through quality education but also by recognising and appreciating their hard work, dedication, and talents. Keeping this vision alive, students from Classes IV to XI were honoured for their outstanding academic performance, exemplary conduct, perfect attendance, achievements in sports, and excellence in various co-curricular activities.

Don Bosco Academy, Patna proudly organised a Felicitation Ceremony on 2nd May, 2026 to honour the outstanding achievers of the ICSE and ISC Board Examinations, recently concluded by CISCE. The event celebrated the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence of students who brought laurels to the institution.

The school felicitated all students who secured above 90% marks, along with those who achieved a perfect score of 100 in any subject. A remarkable total of 132 students from Class 10 and around 15 students from Class 12 were honoured on this special occasion, making it a moment of immense pride for the entire school community.

The ceremony was not only a recognition of academic brilliance but also a tribute to the perseverance and commitment displayed by the students. It served as a source of inspiration for their juniors, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their future endeavours.

Don Bosco Academy, Patna marked Labour Day on 2nd May, 2025 with a heartfelt celebration dedicated to recognising and appreciating the invaluable contributions of its support staff. As an integral part of the DBA family, they play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless functioning of the institution.

The special assembly, conducted by students of Classes 5 to 12, was a fitting tribute to their dedication. It featured an inspiring address by the Director of the school and was attended by the Principal and Vice Principal as well, who acknowledged their relentless efforts. The programme also included a touching poem, a meaningful skit and melodious song composed Mr. Saroj Das. The students of Class 10 of Don Bosco Academy embarked on an enlightening one-day study tour to the headquarters of Dainik Jagran, India’s leading Hindi newspaper. The objective of the visit was to gain firsthand knowledge of the multifaceted process of newspaper production.

The tour provided a comprehensive walkthrough of the entire workflow. Students observed how raw news is transformed into a printed product, beginning with the reporting desk where correspondents file stories, followed by the editing section where language and content are refined. A key highlight was understanding the role of advertisements, learning how they are integrated into page layouts without disrupting news flow.

The most fascinating segment was witnessing the high-speed printing process, where massive rolls of paper turned into finished, folded newspapers in minutes. Finally, the students learned about the intricate distribution network that ensures timely delivery to readers across the region.

The visit was an invaluable practical learning experience, bridging classroom theory with real-world industry operations. Mr Alan Cowell and Mr Joseph V J accompanied the students.
