Don Bosco Academy on 16th October, 2025 organised an Inter-Class Rangoli Making Competition for Classes 9, 11 and 12. Around 20 teams participated and showed their ingenuity and prowess by making beautiful rangolis.
The creativity, theme, neatness and presentation of the Rangolis were enthralling. Class 9E bagged the third prize, whereas 9D got the second prize. The first prize was secured by 9H.
Such competitions instill a festive spirit among the students and imbibe in them spirit of cooperation and team work.

'Awareness. Empathy. Action. For Adolescent Mental Health: Espoir's Mantra'
On 10th October 2025, The Mental Health Club of Don Bosco Academy, Patna, ESPOIR in collaboration with UNICEF, hosted a profound Conference on Adolescent Mental Health, marking World 'Mental Health Day' with compassion and purpose.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Rajesh Kumar and Dr. Priyanka from the Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, and Dr. Pooja of UNICEF whose enlightening words shed light on the intricate nuances of emotional well-being among youth.
The conference stood as a testament to the unwavering dedication of the students and faculty, whose meticulous planning, insightful presentations, and heartfelt performances reflected both empathy and intellect. Through the collective efforts of students, supportive management and UNICEF, the day became not merely an event—but a movement towards awareness, understanding, and hope.

Don Bosco Academy, Patna conducted ‘The First Bible Quiz’ for Catholic Students on 13th May, 2025. The initiative was led by Mrs. Shobha Ranjan.
The students were well prepared and enthusiastically learnt more about the Bible. The first prize was bagged by Team John, the second by Team Luke and the third by Team Mark Mathew.
Such initiatives promote better understanding of culture in educational institutions and is much needed in the current times.

On 16th July, 2025, Don Bosco Academy, Patna conducted it’s annual Calligraphy Competition to enunciate on preserving the good habit of writing in today’s era. Many students from 9th and above expressed their interest, participated and presented aesthetic and creative calligraphy through this platform on the topic ‘Teachers’.
The competition was led by Mr. Bishwajit Gupta, the Arts Teacher and visited and supported by the administration and faculty alike.
Such activities help the students in displaying their asthetic prowess and is supported by the school, as a part of the holistic development of students.

Don Bosco Academy, Patna celebrated Father’s Day on 28th and 29th June, 2025 by inviting fathers to participate for various activities which included Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Tug of War, Antakshari and Daddy’s Got Talent.
The two day programme saw an overwhelming enthusiasm from the parents who participated, and went out of the way to win the various competitions. The celebration concluded with the finals for Cricket on Sunday.
The school acknowledges and appreciates the role of fathers in the development of their ward, and hence through these activities promotes interaction between staff and parents in a more informal environment. Such a gesture is appreciated by teachers and parents alike.

Don Bosco Academy, Patna on 21st June, 2025 conducted an Orientation Programme for the newly inducted students of Class 11.
The Orientation was to familiarise the students about the rules and regulations of the school, our expectations from them, and to introduce them to their administration and staff. The students were addressed by the Principal and the Vice Principal. The legacy of good performers from DBA were represented by some of the alumni including Arya, Bhavya Nathani and Chaitanya Utkarsh- who shared the role of their Alma Mater in their tremendous success.
Such programmes are pivotal in strengthening the relationship between management-staff-parents, and provide clarity to the students as they enter the most important years of their school life.

Don Bosco Academy, Patna organised a two day celebration for Mothers’ Day on 10th and 11th May, 2025. The Director and Principal of the school thanked the mothers for their immense contribution and advised students to always respect them.
The mothers were felicitated with cards and roses as they attended a special cultural programme held in their honour- which included a mashup by the DBA Band & Choir, and several dances, songs, poems and heartfelt messages by the students.
The mothers then participated in the various competitions held which included the Culinary Challenge, the Star Struck Show where the mothers and children performed together. The students through Movie Makers Challenge also presented very meaningful tribute to their mothers.
The programme culminated with the prize distribution, where several classes bagged the prizes. It was a fun filled and enjoyable day for the students and their mothers.
The school acknowledges the pivotal role played by the parents in their all round development, and hence through these events fosters better relations in the Parent-Teacher-Management community.

Out of 65 teams, Don Bosco Academy stood tall as the ultimate winner of the SBI Scholar Quiz! The team even had a perfect score of 20 In Prelims Round which was one of its kind in the whole competition.
The team comprised of Manas Baibhav (10-F) and Arnav Prakash (10-H) who conquered it with brilliance.

Don Bosco Academy, Patna on 1st May, 2025 celebrated Labour Day to appreciate and honour the hard work of their support staff. The support staff form a core part of the DBA family and play a pivotal role in ensuring its smooth functioning.
The assembly was organised by students of Classes 5-12. The assembly comprised of an address by Director sir acknowledging their efforts, a beautiful poem written by Dr. Karuna Kamal and beautiful songs composed by Mr. Saroj Das and Ms. Leenat Samuel. The special assembly was orchestrated with the help of Ms. Anjali Sreekumar, Ms. Karuna Kamal, Ms. Shipra Shah, Mr. Saroj Das and Ms. Leenat Samuel.
The support staff were felicitated with garlands and presented with gifts as a token of appreciation. Their smiles on receiving appreciation was heart warming. The school continues to acknowledge and appreciate all its pillars, and is grateful for their contribution to the institution.

Don Bosco Academy in Patna on 30th April, 2025 held its Investiture Ceremony to adorn the newly inducted office bearers and council members with badges, as they take over their new responsibilities.
The solemn ceremony was attended by the esteemed management who not only pinned the badges and presented sashes but also made the students aware of the importance of their duties, the importance of leadership and the art of being the representative of the student body.
The ceremony included the march of the council, a motivational song on leadership, oath taking ceremony delivered by the Principal and the President’s address.
We place the onus on our Office Bearers and Council Members, and expect them to deliver their duties to the best of their abilities.
