East & West High School

Today, a grand sports event was organized at East & West High School under the aegis of Dainik Jagran. The event included competitions such as the 100-meter race, sack race, three-legged race, etc., in which students participated enthusiastically.
Special credit for the success of this event goes to Mr. Rajiv Ranjan whose hard work, dedication, and excellent organizational skills made the program a grand success.
During the event, our Hon’ble Director Ma’am, Mrs. Shilpi Shah, appreciated the program and motivated the students by highlighting the importance of sports in life. On this occasion, the Principal Sir Mr JP Hota Vice Principal Sir Mr, Dilip Sharma, Vice Principal Yasmin Ma’am, Mr Dharmendra Kumar,and all the teachers and staff members were present.
The event strengthened the spirit of sportsmanship, discipline, confidence, and teamwork among the students, making it a memorable and successful occasion for everyone
At the end of the event, winners were awarded medals for their outstanding performances.

Students participated actively and showcased their scientific skills and creativity through various innovative models. The exhibition was conducted in the supervision of our science faculty, Miss Pinki Kumari, where several impressive projects based on themes such as environmental conservation, energy resources, smart city concepts, water conservation, and modern technology.
On this occasion, the school Hon'ble Director Ma’am Mrs. Shilpi Shah appreciated and encouraged all the students for their excellent efforts. She stated that such competitions help in developing scientific thinking, confidence, and creativity among children. At the end, all participants were congratulated for their outstanding performances

Quiz Competition for Classes VI, VII, and VIII was organized at East & West High School to enhance students’ knowledge, confidence, and teamwork skills. Students from Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue Houses participated enthusiastically in the event. The quiz master Mr Dilip Sharma conducted rounds based on General Knowledge, Science, Mathematics, English, Sports, and Current Affairs. All participants displayed excellent confidence and teamwork throughout the competition. Teachers and school authorities appreciated the students’ active participation and encouraged them to take part in more educational activities in the future.

An Inter-House Quiz Competition for Classes IX and X was organized at East & West High School to encourage knowledge and healthy competition among students. Students from Red, Green, Yellow, and Blue Houses participated enthusiastically in the event. The quiz covered subjects like General Knowledge, Science, Mathematics, English, and Current Affairs. Participants displayed confidence, teamwork, and excellent knowledge throughout the competition. The Principal appreciated the efforts of all students and congratulated the winning house for their achievement.

Speech and Reading Competition was organized at EAST & WEST HIGH SCHOOL. Students enthusiastically participated in the event with confidence and enthusiasm, the students delivered impressive speeches on important topics such as “The Importance of Education” and “The Importance of Discipline.”

The reading segment of the competition also witnessed excellent performances, where students displayed their reading skills with clarity, confidence, and proper expression.

The competition was judged by the esteemed jury members Hon’ble Director Mrs. Shilpi Shah,Mr. Dilip Kr. Sharma (Vice Principal, Senior Wing), and Mrs. Yasmeen Ahmed (Vice Principal, Junior Wing).

At the end of the program, the respected Director, Mrs. Shilpi Shah, appreciated the efforts and hard work of all the students. She praised their performances, pointed out a few minor mistakes, and provided valuable suggestions to help them improve further.

A project was undertaken by the Class 10 students of East & West High School on the occasion of Labour Day to honor the invaluable contributions of the school’s fourth-grade employees.

The students highlighted the significance of Labour Day and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the dedication and hard work of the support staff. A felicitation ceremony was held, during which gifts and sweets were presented as tokens of gratitude and respect.

The Hon’ble Director, Mrs. Shilpi Shah, lauded the students for their thoughtful initiative and praised their efforts in such a meaningful project.

The event proved to be both informative and inspiring, fostering a spirit of respect, gratitude, and social responsibility among the students.

Mother’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at East & West High School. On this special occasion, the school campus was beautifully decorated with colorful items and attractive posters conveying messages of love and respect for mothers.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a welcome speech. Students then presented various cultural performances in honor of their mothers. The dance and song performances by young children captivated everyone. Several students also recited emotional poems and delivered speeches expressing the love, sacrifice, and care of mothers.
Musical chairs competition was also organized for mothers as a form of entertainment, adding more excitement to the event,the winners were awarded prizes.
In her address, the school’s Director said that a mother holds the highest place in one’s life and such events help strengthen family values among children.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by our vice principal, Mrs Yasmeen, Ahmed to all mothers, expressing gratitude towards them. The event turned out to be memorable and emotionally touching for everyone present.

A heartfelt and dignified farewell ceremony was organized at East & West High School today to honor senior teacher Mrs. Sujata Sinha on the occasion of her retirement after years of dedicated service.
The school Hon'ble director Mrs. Shilpi shah highlighted Mrs. Sinha’s remarkable contribution to education, her discipline, and her pivotal role in shaping the overall development of students. She remarked that Mrs. Sinha was not only an excellent teacher but also a mentor who guided countless students with dedication and care.
Fellow teachers shared their experiences and praised her cooperative nature and positive personality. Students, too, expressed their gratitude through emotional speeches, recalling the valuable lessons and memorable moments spent with her.
On behalf of the school, Mrs. Sinha was felicitated with a memento, a shawl, and a bouquet as a token of respect and appreciation. In her farewell speech, she expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire school community and mentioned that her years at the institution would always remain among the most cherished moments of her life. She encouraged students to move forward with honesty, hard work, and discipline.
The ceremony left everyone emotional as they bid farewell to Mrs. Sinha, wishing her a happy and fulfilling future ahead.

Director of Gyan Kaushal (Prayas) Conducts Lab Inspection at EAST & WEST HIGH SCHOOL

A comprehensive lab inspection was conducted at EAST & WEST HIGH SCHOOL, Bela (Patna), by the esteemed Director of Gyan Kaushal (Prayas), Mrs. Aditi Nandi. The inspection covered three key laboratories—Retail, ICT, and PAT—aimed at evaluating their functionality and effectiveness.

During the inspection, the hon'ble Director of the school, Mrs. Shilpi Shah, was also present and actively participated in the process.

The primary objective of the visit was to engage directly with students and gather constructive feedback regarding the labs. Through interactive communication, the Director assessed students’ experiences, their level of satisfaction with the available resources, and the overall quality of practical training provided.

Students actively participated in the interaction, expressing their appreciation for the learning opportunities offered by the labs while also sharing valuable suggestions for further improvement. Their feedback is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and impact of these facilities.
The inspection proved to be highly beneficial for the institution, as it highlighted areas of strength and opened pathways for continuous development. It also encouraged greater student involvement in the learning process.

Investiture Ceremony 2026 – Senior Wing

Our school proudly organized the Investiture Ceremony for the Senior Wing students with great enthusiasm and dignity. The ceremony marked the formal appointment of the newly elected student leaders, instilling in them a deep sense of responsibility, leadership, and commitment.
The ceremony was privileged to be graced by the presence of School President Mr. Pratyush Kanth, accompanied by his wife Mrs. Aditi Nandi; Mr. Sanjay Mehra, along with his wife Mrs. Gauri Mehra; Hon’ble Justice Mr. Gaurang Kanth; School Director Mrs. Shilpi Shah; Principal Mr. J. P. Hota; and Vice Principals Mr. Dilip Sharma and Mrs. Yasmeen Ahmed. Their esteemed presence and words of wisdom greatly enriched the occasion and inspired the young leaders.
During the ceremony, the student leaders took the oath of office, pledging to uphold the values of the school with integrity and dedication. The distinguished guests addressed the gathering, encouraging students to lead with confidence, integrity, and a spirit of service. Notably, Hon’ble Justice Mr. Gaurang Kanth and our respected School President Mr. Pratyush Kanth especially inspired the students through their motivating and insightful words.
