अब आप विदेश से भी PG degree लेकर भारत में काम कर सकते है। परंतु आपको DNB द्वारा आयोजित की जाने वाली परीक्षा पास करनी होगी।
यह कुछ वैसा ही होगा जैसे कि विदेश से MBBS करके भारत आने वाले डॉक्टरों को MCI की परीक्षा देनी होती है।

Post-graduation degrees earned by MBBS doctors from abroad are set to be recognised by India’s medical education regulator.

The MCI Board of Governors has now decided to let PG doctors from any country get recognised and employed in hospitals and medical colleges, provided they clear the DNB (Diplomate of National Board) exam.

●There are two ways for doctors to get PG degrees in India :
1) Either through the PG Board, under the BOG-MCI, which awards MD/MS degrees
or
2) through the NBE, under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, which awards DNB.

Even MBBS students who get their degrees from institutes abroad have to clear the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination conducted by the MCI (now MCI-BOG) before they can legally practise as doctors in the country.

●Health Ministry official said,
“The MCI-BOG has taken various steps to address doctor-shortage in India,” but Government wants to ensure only highly-trained ones get licensed,”
Recognising PG graduates from abroad helps increase the pool of specialist doctors
Government has asked to introduce major reforms to increase the number of MBBS and specialist doctors in the country, and this is a step in that direction.

At present, PG degrees from only five English-speaking countries : US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada are recognised in India, and doctors with post graduate degrees from countries like China and Russia are not treated on par with their Indian counterparts.

●Exam will be conducted in the Pen and Paper mode between June and July 2021
●Although there were demands for multiple sessions in the online mode
Officials believe that :
●Biology students might need more time to practise and get used to the computer-based exam. 🤔
Therefore before any such decision, it is expected that NTA will give six to eight month's notice
Offering NEETUG multiple times and on computers “requires consultation with all the stakeholders because there is a difference between JEE and NEET. JEE is not compulsory for all engineering colleges, whereas NEET is mandatory for admission to all medical colleges
