*DAV Palanga Shines at Cluster Level DAV Sports, Securing Bronze in 4x100 Metre Relay*

In a remarkable display of teamwork and athleticism, the students of DAV Palanga made their school proud by winning the bronze medal in the 4x100 metre relay race at the Cluster Level DAV Sports held at DAV BSEB. The team, comprising Maurya Sisodiya (Class IX), Vishwajeet Samant (Class X), Rudransh Roy (Class X), and Ashmit Kumar (Class X), demonstrated exceptional coordination and speed, outshining several other teams in the competition. Their hard work, dedication, and relentless practice paid off as they clinched the third spot on the podium, adding another feather to the cap of DAV Public School Anisabad at Palanga. This victory not only highlights their individual talents but also showcases the spirit of teamwork and perseverance that the school instils in its students.

Students in Std I have done an activity on the model of a house.

In this activity, students used their design-thinking skills and powers of observation to create and construct a house model.

The students have shown their interest and creativity towards the different types of shelters. They have made beautiful models of shelters like huts, houses, igloos and apartments.

Through this activity, the students will learn about some unique house names, and why these are considered as special houses.

The students thoroughly enjoyed this activity.

"Vanmahotsav Day Celebration at DAV Public School, Palanga, Patna!

Today(04/07/2024), we celebrated Vanmahotsav Day with great enthusiasm and zeal at DAV Public School, Palanga, Patna. The students of STD V came together to promote the importance of trees and the need to protect our environment.

The celebration began with a beautiful tree plantation drive, where students planted saplings on the school premises.
The students took a pledge to protect and preserve our nature for a better future.

We are proud of our students for their active participation and enthusiasm towards this noble cause.

DAV United Community is filled with pride as 8 Alumni of DAV are now members of the Lok Sabha 2024. Congratulations! and thanks to them for adding Pride to each one of Us.

So far we have been able to track 8 and believe that a few other MPs may also be connected to DAV as alumni, parents or teachers, the search is ongoing.

The DAV Institutions celebrated Veda Prachar Week by organising various events for the students which helped them to become aware of the Vedic culture. DAV Institution believes that the Vedas are the most authentic original and the oldest documents of human wisdom. It enhances the spiritual, intellectual, cultural and social development of a child. Self-realization is the purpose of studying Vedas.
The Veda Prachar week started on 28th August 2023 and ended on 06th September 2023. The DAV schools from Bihar Zone participated in this event at various venues decided by the Regional Head Office.
The students of DAV Public School Palanga participated in this event with great enthusiasm. In which Kavya Path Competition, Veda Mantra Uchharan Competition, Geeta Shloka Uccharan Competition, Fancy Dress Competition, Bhajan Competition, Sanskrit Bhasan Competition, Prasnottari (Vyawhar Bhanu), Yagya Rachayen competition were organized. 4th September was the day when the whole family of DAV Public School Palanga smiled together and celebrated with joy. Our school won 1st Prize in Sanskrit Bhashan held at DAV Public School, Patliputra, Patna. Mr Ravi Kumar put lots of effort during the preparation of the competition. Ananya of STD VII participated in this competition and secured 1st prize for the school. Her performance was outstanding in the competition.
On the same day Mrs. Radhika Anshu, Teacher DAV Palanga went to DAV Public School Walmi Complex Patna with her team for Prashnottari based on Vyawhar Bhanu. The participants were A***n Pankaj (STD IX), Kumar Gaurvit (STD IX) and Shashi Shekhar (STD VII). They received the 1st Consolation prize, which was again a proud moment for the school. On 1st September 2023, a fancy dress competition was organized at DAV Public School, Arya Samaj Mandir. Ms. Saumya Sinha prepared the students of STD III for this competition. Aayu Jha of STD III performed the role of Rama Krishna Paramhansa and Arush Kumar of STD III performed the role of Swami Dayananda Saraswati. They got a consolation prize, which was again a proud moment for the school.
Headmistress Honourable Dr Arpana Singh gave their blessings to all the participants and congratulated them with their words that All credit goes to the hard work and practice of mentors and their student teams.
