The Academic and Debating Committee of Chanakya National Law University, Patna is delighted to present to you the 1st CNLU ONLINE BRITISH PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE from 19th April
to 21st April,2021.
After hosting eleven successful editions and being on the cusp of hosting a twelfth, in the Asian Parliamentary Debate (APD) format, it gives us immense pleasure to be hosting the first edition of our debate in the British Parliamentary format and we shall leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the event lives up to the standards set by past parliamentary debates hosted by CNLU.
This being the first edition, hasn’t made us compromise on the prize money as it shall be as high as ever. This shall be an OPEN tournament (i.e. people who have completed their Under-Graduate or Post-Graduate studies or are not affiliated to any institution can apply too) and Cross teams are allowed. Like previous editions, this year too we have a brilliant Core Adjudication Panel which promises you an exciting and hopefully a different experience.
The tournament will be following N+1 policy.

The Academic and Debating Committee of Chanakya National Law University, Patna is delighted to present to you the XIITH CNLU NATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY DEBATE from 23rd April to 25th April, 2021. Owing to the pandemic, this edition shall be held in the online mode. After hosting eleven successful editions, it gives us immense pleasure to be back for the twelfth with the challenges this year are different from any other yet we assure you that this year too, you shall have a fulfilling experience.
The tournament shall be held in the 3 vs 3 Asian Parliamentary Debate (APD) format and the high prize money at stake is as tempting as ever. This shall be an OPEN tournament (i.e. people who have completed their Under-Graduate or Post-Graduate studies or are not affiliated to any institution can apply too) and Cross teams are allowed. Like previous editions, this year too we have a brilliant Core Adjudication Panel which promises you an exciting and hopefully a different experience.

The Registration fee shall be Rs 500 for Debaters and Rs 400 for Adjudicators, respectively.

On the august occasion of the birth anniversary of social reformer, philosopher and great thinker Swami Vivekananda, *12th January, 2021*, the Academic and Debating Committee is conducting its *annual speech competition commemorating the occasion. “Relevance of Swami Vivekananda in Challenging Times” is the focal theme for the event. The top three speakers for the event shall also be awarded certificates and cash prizes as follows:

Runners-Up: Rs. 1500
Second runners-Up: Rs. 1000
