📢 **Orientation Program for Academic Session 2024-25 at Govt. College for Girls, Patiala**

We are thrilled to share that on 12th August 2024, Govt. College for Girls, Patiala, organized a successful Student Orientation Program for the new Academic Session 2024-25. The event was held under the esteemed guidance of our Principal, Smt. Renu, and was graced by the presence of council members, faculty members, and our eager new students.

Prof. Richa Bansal conducted the stage with great poise, warmly welcoming all the students and introducing them to their respective teachers. She provided valuable insights into the college activities, the beautiful campus, and the various dynamic clubs that the students can join.

The program concluded with our Vice Principal, Prof. Anila Sultana, delivering the official vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the students and faculty members for their participation.

**🌟 Honoring Heroes on Kargil Vijay Diwas! 🌟**

On this special day of Kargil Vijay Diwas, we are proud to announce that our NCC cadets of 4 Pb GIRLS Bn from Govt College for Girls, Patiala, participated in three significant events to pay tribute to the brave soldiers who fought for our nation.

1. **🌳 Tree Plantation:** Our cadets planted saplings as a symbol of growth and renewal, honoring the sacrifices made by our soldiers and contributing to a greener environment for future generations.

2. **🕊️ Visit to War Memorial:** The cadets visited the War Memorial to pay homage to the martyrs and learn about the valor and dedication of our armed forces. This visit was a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made for our nation's freedom.

3. **🔫 Visit to Weapon Display:** The cadets attended a weapon show, where they gained insights into the advanced technologies used by our military forces. This experience inspired them to appreciate the strength and preparedness of our defense forces.
