Several new safety measures are included in the National Electrical Code of India 2023, which demand change in the current electrical installation practices. The success of NEC depends on its acceptance by the users including building owners, architects and electrical consultants. Since NEC is made mandatory in the draft CEA safety regulation, there is no option other than following NEC once when the safety regulations are published.

Each part of the code shall be understood and implemented in the design for an improved and reliable electrical installation in buildings. Thanks to the hard work and efforts by ETD 20 members in making the Code of practice a practical guide for several technical subjects.

1. Switch Coding
You both are good coders, but are you the best partner? A team-based programming competition aiming at how well one can switch his/her mind from one program to another and how well one can coordinate with his/her partner. You need to register in a group of two and each member working on a set of code need to switch places after five minutes and then navigate the other code to make it implementable.
