This event underscores ongoing tensions related to wildlife conservation in Rajasthan, reminiscent of the 1998 blackbuck poaching case involving Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The Bishnoi community’s vigilant stance continues to play a significant role in safeguarding the region’s wildlife.
