A cherished memory from July 1983, when Government Model Senior Secondary School, Pheel Khana, Patiala, was declared the Best School of Punjab for the 1982-1983 academic session.. On this proud occasion, Principal Mrs. Sethi and S. Roopinder Singh received the memento and certificate from S. Birpal Singh, then Co-operation Minister of Punjab, during a special function held in Ludhiana..
