POCSO Awareness Session for Teachers

A meaningful and informative POCSO Awareness Session was conducted by Dr. Inderpreet Singh, District Career Guidance and Counsellor, for the teacher fraternity at Auro Mirra Centre of Education, Patiala.

The session focused on creating a safe, aware, and child-centric school environment by strengthening teachers’ understanding of the POCSO Act, their responsibilities, and the importance of early intervention and protection of every child.

Together, we reaffirm our commitment to nurturing a safe and secure learning space for every child.

A proud moment for Auro Mirra Centre of Education!

Ms. Gunjan Sharma (Class X) and Mr. Namish Sehgal (Class IX) represented our school at the Inter-School Poetry Recitation Competition, held on 19 August at Sri Aurobindo School.

Their recitation reflected attuned assonance, impeccable oration, expression and confidence, leaving a beautiful impression among participants from 24 schools.

We are delighted to share that they bagged the 1st Consolation Prize. 🏆✨

An engaging and meaningful awareness session on “Self-Care & Hygiene During Menstruation” was conducted by Ms. Rati for the girls.

The session focused on helping young girls understand menstruation as a natural and healthy part of growing up, while encouraging them to approach their periods with confidence, awareness and dignity.
